“This is by far the best smoke shop/novelty item shop/glass shop in the Los Angeles County area. Nobody else has better prices. Nobody else has better products. Nobody else has the quality plus quantity plus pricing - taking into consideration the entire inventory. Not to mention they are open 24 hours, and the employees are unreal. I had the honor of coming in, while the owner was here, and was able to speak with him, and this guy is the real deal. He only carries the best products, and he truly cares about his customers. So much so that I came in on vacation, I heard about a Halloween discount, I was not gonna be on vacation during the Halloween discount, and he gave it to me anyways. So I felt compelled to write this review because this is one of the dankest smoke shops I have ever been in my life and if you are in the LA area and you go anywhere else you are sleeping Sun.”
“This shop was a little tricky to get to because it's next to that Mamba club and the lot was full since I went at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. Also the parking lot is kinda one way so if you aren't assertive and an awkward person (as I am) then you might get forced back onto Beach Blvd. BESIDES THAT... I was pretty impressed with the place! They had a huge selection of product and the guy was SO nice! They had a bell so I didn't have to stand around like an idiot (my experience at other shops). I for sure recommend this place to others.”
“Came to the bar next door, forgot my vape, walked in and was greeted by Sam the store manager. I asked for something new he gave me a couple recommendations ( both lost Mary) and they were both spot on. It’s small, but have great variety. Check them out and you will not be disappointed.”

“You guys know smoke shops. First time is always a crapshoot; price gouging, pushy/rude employees, small selection, etc. only to walk out after being rushed and pressured into buying something you didn’t even want. I’m sure many of you’ve had a similar experience.First time here and luckily there was none of that. Instead of boring you with a novel, I’ll keep it short and sweet. (Edit: I lied)Ned helped me out today. Start to finish. Came in looking to buy only a torch. Also wanted to browse their nectar collector selection.The sheer volume of different products they carry here is amazing. If you need something smoke/vape related, chances are they’ll have it here.The prices are very fair, and on average a bit lower then other smoke shops.The best thing though is the service. You get a big, warm smile and welcome, and you’ll get the sense they really want to help you choose the right product. Ned was very knowledgeable and I never once felt uncomfortable asking any kind of question. They treat you like family here. It really brightens one’s day.Ended buying a torch and a nectar collector, and Ned even cut me a deal. This is a business I enjoy giving my money too.If you’re in the area and haven’t been before, you’re missing out.”

“Great shop. A lot of variety, and the disposable vape I purchased was the cheapest I've ever paid for it anywhere. I would highly recommend this shop for any of vape needs. “I have shopped for various items at Smoke Depot and recommended them to friends for several years now. Clean and organized shop..beautiful glass pieces and well stocked shelves. I have found a few things there I haven't seen in other smoke shops, making them my go to for every such purchase. What really impressed me, was that they took back and exchanged a purchase I didn't think was returnable. The item must have been factory damaged because it looked fine at first but then overheated which has never happened before. I was so surprised to be offered a replacement..and very happy also. The guys running the shop are very chill and always happy to help, so yeah. I recommend them. Highly ; )”

“Best smoke shop, owner is a great guy never tried to rip me off always only selling and recommending me what I need, products are quality highly recommend the king palm swishers( best flavors are banana and margarita) also bought a little glass pipe for $7 and a magnetic grinder for $20 I absolutely love the quality.”

“I absolutely love Surf City Liquor. It is centrally located to our HB neighborhood. I am so grateful they are dog friendly. Marvat and staff are so kind and welcoming every day! The store is always very clean. This is my neighborhood mart to grab a quick snack and drink before I head to the beach, or grab a bottle of wine to take to a dinner party, or grab some essentials like eggs and coffee in a pinch. They’ve got everything! I love the camaraderie of stopping in, saying hello, exchanging smiles to encourage another amazing day, and promoting our local Surf City liquor! ?”
“Every time I've been here the staff are very friendly. There are a couple things that they have not had in stock that I wish they did, one being Bookers Bourbon, the other being Pyramids Apricot Ale. But they are the only store I know to still have Agwa on the shelf. I won't say what it is. Just look at the picture. The only other place you can get this liquor is online. Lets just say the first shot makes your mouth a little numb. Enjoy!!!”
