Not worth your time. Anything that looks halfway decent is barely discounted.
Most of the clothes are there for a reason, no one else wanted them at the regular store. And at these barely discounted prices, I bet they're not selling much at this outlet store either. I wouldn't ever buy a wetsuit or any expensive gear here because of the return policy. Good luck trying to get the manufacturers to honor a warranty for an outlet store purchase.

I looked at a jewelry stand near the entrance and my hand got covered in a big spiderweb. Gross. I should have left then and there.
The hoodies are poor quality and are not soft. You can tell they use some of the cheapest material they can source. The graphic designs are out of date but not in a cute, vintage way.
The flip flop area is a mess. Many are missing the other matching flip flip. I tried on a few sandals and they were uncomfortable.
Apparently the blond lady was watching me like a hawk the whole time. Early on, I picked up a $2 beanie but waited to try it on until I got to a fitting room/mirror.
I looked around the store some more and then eventually I tried on a variety of clothes and accessories in a fitting room. I then continued to browse the racks afterwards. At some point, I put down the $2 beanie with other beanies & hats that were piled up on the top of one circular clothing racks. I guess this really bothered the blond lady because she asked me about the beanie just as I was about to leave the store. It wasn't even cute. It was oddly long and dirty. I found it with other beanies and gave it to her and apologized with something like, "Sorry I placed it with the other beanies."
I can't imagine being bothered enough about an item that was misplaced to stop a customer from leaving. It's not like I put it somewhere weird like the wetsuit area... it's an honest mistake to put a beanie with other beanies.
I'm never going here or the regular Jack's store again. Mostly because there are no good deals to be found at this outlet store and partly because blond lady was so oddly petty and weird about the whole thing. I hope the lady ended up buying it herself, and cherishes it everyday.
My family had been customers of Jack's for decades. Not anymore.
I try to shop local and in store as much as possible, so I'll stick to HSS for any in store needs but to be honest you can buy any gear you need online for cheaper these days.

DO NOT BUY A WETSUIT FROM HERE! I bought a wetsuit and the first time I put it on, the leg seam ripped completely all the way up, making it useless. I took it back with the receipt only 2 weeks later) and explained that it was defective and they would not return or exchange it.

I was at a kids birthday party at Bolsa Chica and my wife & daughter wanted boogie boards. I looked around for inexpensive options and founds Jack's Outlet. It was a little further than I wanted to travel but it had the best options. I walked in and the boogie boards were in the front. The clerk asked what I needed & what size and directed me to them. There were several options and the price was right. I will definitely come back here for a surfboard when my son is ready for one.

This is an unusual review for this outlet. Our family has been going here for YEARS and have always had good experiences until now. I took our grandkids and son with me to shop for them before they went home(out of state) which is something we usually do whenever they are here. When we got there, 2 employees(young guys) were working and as we found items we were interested in, we found a couple of items we felt required further discount and asked if that was possible and we were offered a fair additional discount than what was marked. Continuing our shopping spree(which ended up over $600), we placed our items at the cash register so as not to be bulked down with our items. When we were finally finished, we went to check out and an older grey haired man was at the register(he came in while we were still shopping) and when we stated that we were offered additional discount on two items, he said "no that wasn't allowed". I specifically said the discount was already offered by another staff member and he replied "that staff member didn't have the authority to do that and he was putting his employment at risk of being fired"!!! Needless to say we didn't purchase the additional items and probably should have just not bought anything!!! Upon leaving, my son walked over to the young man who had initially been helping us and told him he was doing what is right in business and that he should continue to be customer service oriented unlike this older guy who was a complete A**H**E to us. It left a really bad feeling for all of us and we will certainly be cautious upon going in again..... making sure that old kook isn't working!!!

Great prices to check out, especially if you're just beginning to surf. Kids can grow out the clothes pretty quick and the outlet prices definitely help.

Always able to find the right gift item when I take the grandkids to pick it out. Wetsuits are the newer styles and clothes are priced well so they can get several items in the allowance.

Elijah rules!Been coming here for over a year and he always takes care of me! I've bought multiple wetsuits and even a pair of booties. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff!
