Stopped by Surf City Market with friends to grab some drinks and had a great experience. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful in assisting us with finding what we needed. We'll definitely be returning to this little shop each time we're in HB !

I used my debit card and was told transaction didn't go through so I used my credit card, next day saw that I had both transactions on my bank statements. Was in contact with the owner and the first debit transaction wasn't showing up on their end, even though my card was definitely charged, so I was told to go through my bank but because for some reason the cashier charged me differently the second time the bank sees it as two separate transactions and I don't get my money back.

I'd go lower than 1 star if I could. I've never once heard a good thing about this place. Straight garbage. They double all prices compared to anything else because they are so poor and desperate they can't help being pathetic. 12 rack truly? $15 at a gas station which is high prices. Here? $25 for the same truly 12pack. The owners are delusional and frankly need to be investigated for corruption. Any employee here has always been shit and anyone in HB that isn't a tourist knows how god awful pathetic and shit they are. I've seen gas stations with crackheads up the ass that are better than this shit hole

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! If you're female DO NOT shop here. The person, who I assume was the owner, was incredibly rude and dismissive to me. He literally waved me away and would not cash in my $10 winning lottery ticket. He said he wouldn't take his time to cash it in. I was going to buy something immediately from his store with that $10. He said he needed to wait on the men in line behind me. He actually angrily shooed me away, I'm a polite, middle aged woman, who happens to also be an educator. I've never been spoken to so rudely in my life. I hope that some of the advice that I left him with will educate him for the future. Sad excuse for a business owner.

The young guy that works here is extremely rude to customers and all of their merchandise is old. You would be much better off taking your business elsewhere.
