There are very few items that have price tags on them so you don't know what you are paying for everything until they ring you up and just give you a total. Pretty sure they charge everyone for 2 bags every time also, whether you use any or not. Also, check the expiration dates on their food as I found some that were expired by over a year.

My grandmother owned this little market back in the seventies. It was called Frankie's Market then. She sold it to the family that still owns it today.

Cool little neighborhood liquor store! Stayed nearby in a cool little Air BNB, bike rides to the store for snacks and beer! Awesome little spot.

I grew up in this neighborhood. When Steve(the original owner) was running the store. I'm pretty sure he knew my siblings and I by name. We would save quarters and go play arcade games and buy as much candy as we could. He was so kind, he would sometimes allow us more candy even if we didn't have enough money. I have been there recently, and the place hasn't changed much, other than his grandkids running it now. It looks and feels the same. People at the register always have a smile and are very nice. This place will always be one of my favorites.

I live a couple blocks away from here and whenever someone asks me if I like my place, the first thing I say is "well it's got the best liquor store just down the street." I walk here ALL THE TIME because they have EVERYTHING. It has been a life saver on more than one occasion. The staff is always friendly. I've never had a bad experience or walked away empty handed. FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!
