It is a basic two star hotel. In my case I used it only to go to sleep for a few days and it was very good. It doesn't have amenities or anything like that. It has parking and a coffee maker in the room. The place was clean. It would improve the aroma of the rooms and also the attention of the lady at the reception, who could put a little more good vibes on her clients. If you are looking for a simple and economical place to spend the night, this is very good.Rooms: My room was basic, an armchair, a double bed, a table, a bar and a compartmentalized bathroom.Nearby activities: The beach is 10 minutes by car along that same avenue. Two blocks away there is a Trader Joe's supermarket and also several places to buy things. The bus passes along that same avenue. It costs 2 usd and you can pay cash (exact payment)Food & drinks: It has a mini refrigerator, although if the noise bothers you, it is better to unplug it.

Listen to all the bad reviews one of the sleeping weirdos who live there accused me of something I didn’t do and then acted like nothing happened. Stay away from here. I didn’t enter the room and asked for a refund and was told I would get it after some time but I have not gotten a refund.Safety: Not safe at all bad area. Saw a car on fire about 4 blocks away from the area.Noteworthy details: Service is really bad. Place is like a scam stay away for your safety and your car’s safety.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! This place is a joke!!!! First of all they gave me a room that was occupied by a sleeping weirdo who obviously lived there. Then the kept $25 dollars of my deposit because I used it to wash my makeup off and they don't know how to do laundry. But wait there is more!!! I called asking when the rest of my deposit ($75) was going to be refunded and she said she did it. It has now been almost a month and nothing has been refunded. I called just now to ask what was going on and she said I'll send you a picture of the refund. I said no thank you I want my money. It has not hit my bank account and she was like too bad I did the refund and offered no help to figure out why it wasn't actually refunded to my account.

This AMAZING CUTE AND BEAUTIFULLY OPERATED business was the highlight of an experience for a couple who has lost a child from cancer and needed to see the ocean once in their lifetime. I highly recommend staying here! To the Mr and Mrs who helped us.... thank you so very much for making our trip amazing! God

Everything was really great, until the landscaping crew and guy running a leaf blower started at 8am. Not cool after a late night. The primary purpose of renting a hotel room is to sleep. Guess I'm cheated out of two hours of sleep that I thought I had paid for today. Not happy, at all. As a professional driver, having just driven 12 hrs, and going on to work again today, my sleep is important for the safety of both myself and others. The rooms are clean and modern, the bed comfortable. I was grateful for the presentation of it all. But, again, the reason for the room is to sleep. I was really counting on the other two hours today.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Starlight Inn and found the rooms to be incredibly clean and the staff extremely helpful! Look forward to staying here again!

If I could give zero stars I would. The management is very poor! They do not know how the system works clearly. The room was disgusting and dirty and the management is rude. Extremely rude!It’s a shame they don’t allow more than one night reservation! Don’t bother with this place it is trash! The pictures are all lies. What a horrible experience.

Stay clear,loud, dirty,the deposit they say you'll get back takes weeks if you keep on them at best,they switched nightly rates on us once we got there.Rude night manager!!!

Starlight Inn operate a scam on non-smoking room upgrades. Smoking rooms are not described in the room descriptions at the time of selection on Hotels.com. When you get to the hotel however, they demand an extra $25 to 'upgrade' to a non-smoking room. When I told them I was going to reflect my disappointment in the review, they refused to let me stay at all and refused a refund.When I made my booking there were no non-smoking king rooms available. So I had no idea I was getting a smoking room. The difference between smoking and non-smoking when booking is $4 and they admitted to me that the do this to increase revenue. Had the Gaul to complain that Hotels.com take 40% commission.Hotels.com no help whatsoever.

The Starlight Inn is a welcome oasis with excellent staff and a great location with clean rooms and good vibes. I always rate based on the value for the product... Starlight is 5 stars all the way ?

"Wow! This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The customer service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The newly remodeled rooms were gorgeous, and the amenities were top-notch. Not a single sign of bed bugs, and the entire place felt fresh and clean. The location near the beach was an added bonus. I can't understand why this isn't a 5-star hotel!"
