To my experience after several powder coating jobs the quality is always too notch. Price is competitive and depending on if it's they're busy season or not they can be very fast. They just completed a large bumper for me in 2 days. I find that amazing. Thanks guys.

I've had a number of motorcycle parts and bike frames either blasted and coated or just stripped in prep for my own paint, and every time I have, it's been a quality job to say the least. I've had some rough encounters with similar businesses in the area, and am definitely happy I found Specialized Coatings, as I now have a trustworthy place to recommend more people to. I've brought in certain jobs for a quote, they've always been up front and honest with regards to my ideas, and if something doesn't seem to be cost effective for me, they've great at explaining why, and what they would recommend I do instead. Each finished project I've received back to date has been exactly what I've expected. As a former mechanic and fabricator myself, I know that sometimes seeing a job in person gives you a much easier idea of work that will be required to finish it, and it's the nature of work such as this that sometimes unforeseen issues will come up. They've always been good at communicating this info to me, which I definitely appreciate.

Best powdercoating hands down in the area. Have tried 3 places all across socal before this, Specialized is the best in terms of response, capability, facility, and offerings. Their prices are very reasonable for the work too.Had a custom roof rack that is one single piece of fabricated steel. Specialized smoothly coated satin black on the cross tubes and coated grip texture on the rack structure. Seamless transition on the two colors and everything looks great.

First off, this was my mistake for not getting a quote.A friend of mine who uses this company often, recommended them to powder coat a few engine parts. A new Edelbrock intake manifold, a set of clean, blasted, cast iron headers, and a box of small parts. The headers were ceramic coated, and the other parts plain black.I went to pick them up, and was shocked when I was presented a bill for almost 700.00 (780 total after tax and the 22.00 charge to use my credit card because I don't carry close to a grand around in my pocket.).I couldn't contest it cause I didn't ask. That said, it was (285 to coat the headers, 290 for the intake manifold, 100 for the small parts)This isn't my first experience with powder coating. I have had things coated before (2 4.5 x 8 ft gates cost me 300.00 a week ago in northern California.), so, before I said anything, I called 4 other shops (Denmac, And Primo powder coating along with 2 others). They quoted me 300 to do both intake and exhaust, which is what I had figured I initially. Bill should have been about 400+tax.I don't begrudge anyone their profit, or how they do business. It was completely my fault for not checking first.At the same thing me, I can't recommend them to anyone based on their pricing. Sorry guys, I can't see paying double for the same work all over town.No problem with the work, just don't want to pay s***** prices for it.I learned my lesson. Never again.

This is my new Powder Coating shop. Kelly and Larry are very friendly and helpful. They walked me through several options for my bumpers and gave me a very reasonable price. I just picked them up and they look fantastic! Pristine job front and back. Great service, great options, great pricing, and great turnaround. it makes sense now why you see all the projects going on in their facility. Thanks again.
