ROCKIN FIG FOREVER! Legendary Surf Shop of Huntington Beach. Not your typical touristy spot. But highly recommended you visit this LOCAL shop. There is a lot of HISTORY here! Many legendary surfers have stepped foot and hung out in here. Well...always nice to have a chat with the owner Ricky when I'm in the area. Ricky has a good selection of beginner to advanced surfboards. Plenty choice of unique and beautiful boards, always low prices for people who new to surfing!! You can always have Ricky to design your own custom board by local shapers. I've just picked up few "Rockin Fig" merchandise of hoodie, shirts and stickers last week. Wow...it has been over 10 years since I've met Ricky's dad, the legendary VOICES of Huntington Beach, US Open of Surfing and KROQ Radio Surf Report. I was LUCKY to witnessing Rockin Fig's Surfers Hall of Fame induction of 2013. I've also managed to snapped a selfie photo with Mr. Fig that day! Oh man...we miss the voice, energy and vibes of Rockin Fig. Surfs up! Prices are down!! Go see Ricky! m/m/

I was in Huntington Beach in October and was at the Tuesday night Main Street fair, looking for a smaller surf shop where I could get a t-shirt for my husband. Rockin Fig had t-shirts out front, and a lady came out to chat with me. Turns out, she's the daughter of Rockin Fig himself, and sadly he passed away unexpectedly last year. She told me a bit about her dad and his legacy, and said that they have been keeping things running since his passing. When I went inside to pay for my shirt, I saw many beautiful boards and good gear. I'm sure Rockin Fig is so proud of them. I don't need a board at this time, but I would be honored to shop there and get one of their boards - clearly made with skill and love, this team is dedicated to surfing and surfers.

My son's first real surfboard from iconic Huntington Beach Rockin Fig with money and gift cards saving since Xmas. Guys there could not have been cooler. Worked with him on best shape for his size/skill and spent time during busy street fair to explain every detail. Wouldn't let him leave until he had full understanding of the unique foil of each thruster fin. They talked to him and not at him... a big difference. Not sure who was more excited, my son or guys in shop. You always remember your first, and Rockin Fig gets it. Made the experience that much more special. Treated a young boy with respect. Thank you!
