Did permanent eyeliner. One eye was completely smudged and lost easily 50% or more color in a couple days. Poor service and poor quality of ink/equipment.Service: Permanent makeup

Kathryn Joy did an amazing job on my eyebrows. ( I love them ) At age 60 they tend to want to disappear. ( Dreadful) Such a warm and friendly ,down to earth artist that is extremely thorough and detail oriented. Kathryn is knowledgable with many years of experience running a successful business and it's easy to tell that she loves what she does. She offers good advice and listens for exactly what you are requesting . What a wonderful job that must be for her, to make someone prettier. I left there with a bit of pep in my step and felt that I had made a new friend.

I would give Kathryn an honest and constructive review about my appointment for my lips today, and I'm gonna post an update about the healing process and result. First of all, I got this permanent full lip color through Groupon for 280$. It's my first time having my lips done for permanent color so I don't know what to expect. Kathryn is friendly and communicates well. What I like is about her work is that she walked me through the process and shows me the things that she's putting on to my lips like the numbing cream. I also like that she make sure that I'm properly numb. She actually put 2 types of numbing cream into my lips and left it there for 20 mins to make sure I'm not gonna feel anything. She also lets me choose the color that I want for my lips. She explain everything to me about the healing process and care. The only downside is that, she did not pre-draw my lips prior to start of the process which makes me worried. She just started tattooing by just following the outline of my lips without any pre-draw. I am also wasn't aware about her techniques, she is using something that is manual technique not the usual use of electric tattooing machine, I believed they called it soft tap on which I am not familiar of. I would say the process Is a little bit messy as there are lots of splashes but again it does not matter to me. I think we finished after 1.5 hour and I felt like she's kinda in a rush as someone is calling her outside the room. I am not even sure if im done so. So when I step out I believed there's another client, again I am not sure but I felt like my process was rushes that I thought my whole lips was not properly colored or at least even it out. I noticed it when step out as the lightning outside is better compared to the room. The color is just everywhere. I have attached a picture here of my lips right after the procedure when I got into my car. I haven't drink anything nor touch my lips when i took this photo. The whole lips was not evenly colored. There is no pre draw outline prior to the process so I don't know what shape of lips I would expect.

Kathryn Joy did such an amazing job on my permanent eyeliner. I wanted a thin line, just enough to make me look like I'm put together (even on the days when I don't want to put in any effort). I cannot describe how happy I am with the results. It was one of those experiences where I walked out feeling like I got exactly what I wanted. She's kind, knowledgeable, quick and professional. She's also funny, which made the process of taking a blade to my eyelids just a little more comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. I will be returning for touch-ups.

Kathryn Joy did an amazing job on my eyeliner. She is very professional, down to earth and explained the process, what to expect and after care. Would definitely recommend her if you're looking to do some permanent makeup.

I had my eyeliner done for the first time & it looks great! I had my lips done as a touch up, because I had already had my PMU artist friend do 1 session of "lip blushing." Kathryn did a great job blending what I already have and making a more defined lip-line. She also was so kind to fill in (for FREE) a few missing strokes from my "combination brows" I had done by my friend where the microblading & powder brows didn't take well.I am so grateful I found this talented, wonderful woman to accentuate my facial features. I will definitely be back for the tinting of my blonde-tipped lashes & a lash lift very soon! Thank you so much Kathryn for being on-time, diligent in getting the job done, and performing all my treatments by hand... it was less ouchy than when my friend did my first round of lips! :) :) :)Service: Microblading

Update:Kathryn, what incentive/motive would I have to lie on a random permanent make up artist? You can't claim that I am hired by competition because your skills are outdated and you are not proliferate. Actually, before I contacted you for tattoo removal I received 2 eyebrow tattoo sessions with you, you used that old fashioned multiple needle tool, the needles are parallel to form hair stroke mimics. So you lied about that too. I never went back for a 3rd session because the pigment never stayed discernibly and I received no apparent shaping from your technique/approach. Deny it again and I'll will post screenshots of our text correspondence/booking. You cared more about your mediocre reputation than the face of a young woman with a lot more going for her. You are seriously flawed and vile.My eyebrows are mutilated after aggressive glycolic permament make up removal session. Did not want to settle or help me to repair damage.I wanted nothing more than to remove the tattoo and she assured me that after 3 to 4 treatments that she could. I did not stay in the sun or pick, I am a homebody and like I said very motivated to remove tattoo. The dark lines u see are from post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and loss of pigment between them. Weeks before those photos were taken, one could see a layer of skin missing where there is obvious discoloration. Nothing to do with after care and everything to do with the negligence during and acid procedure.

Kathy was recommended to be by a long time client of hers. I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done by another person and it did not look right. My eyebrows were too thick and the liner looked like it wasn't finished. It was a bit of a mess, to be honest. I felt awful and didn't want to go anywhere. I met with Kathy and she was honest and said it would take a few sessions to correct everything. Since then, I have done that and I am thrilled with the results. Now looking good and feeling great about myself.
