I walked in there to try to get some work done on my truck. I knew exactly what needed to be done. First off, the guy didn't even say " hi, how can I help you?". He just walked up with a attitude and looked as if I ruined his entire day. Told him what I needed done on my truck. He then tried to school me with this disrespectful attitude as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I proceed to keep my cool and just let him talk. He then told me to "get the part myself" and he "MIGHT" have time to get to it in the near future. If that's how this guy runs his shop then I feel sorry for the people who actually waste their money here. Take your car to a shop where he respects his customers and their word.

Pete and his team are great. I usually wrench on my own Jeep but I was a little pressed for time. Pete serviced my rear brakes and replaced the cracked exhaust manifold on my 97 TJ. Fair price, good communication, and no surprises. I got quotes from other Jeep specialists in the area and it is amazing how they try to gouge you. Pete has earned my loyalty!

Great shop!After being in some tough situations while in my old 4WD Navigator, I realized I needed to beef up the rig and get additional clearance.OC OffRoad replaced the air bag stock suspension adding coil overs, lift, and new UCA’s. He also replaced my damaged running boards with custom rock sliders.All of this done to meet my tight timeline for a trip I had planned in the Mohave Preserve. Simply an excellent experience!I have a few more upgrades to go and will be headed back to OC Off RoadService: Steering & suspension replacement

Highly recommended in anything engine, suspension, electrical and off-road.He did a total engine swap for me. LS motor in Jeep Grand Wagoneer with all the emissions to pass smog. They’re definitely not too many guys like him who can do this work properly. Pete is the man!

We have been using Pete to maintain and repair our Jeep for several years now. He has always been thorough, honest, and fair with his pricing. We have always been satisfied with the quality of his work. I particularly like that he brings a passion to working on Jeeps and other offroad vehicles, and it shows. Our most recent experience was the most challenging we have brought to OC Offroad. The computer in our Jeep started throwing codes, and Pete initially checked out each code to see if there was actually a problem. Turns out, the computer had gone bad. Because our Jeep is 18 years old, new spare parts computers are no longer manufactured. In the end, Pete had to go through 3 different refurbished computers (first two refurbs were no good) and then research to find how to get the 3rd computer to set properly. I don't know of many mechanics who would have kept at it so diligently to fix the problem. This shop is small, and located down a street that is a bit hidden away, so strongly recommend to call and make an appointment. We wouldn't take our Jeep anywhere else.

All in all, I recommend this shop for aftermarket performance suspension work. Professional shop that did a good job installing after-market suspension. Fair price for labor. My only concern is that I did not receive the parts that were previously on my vehicle (meaning other after-market parts that were replaced). I'm not concerned with the parts that were obsolete and worn out, only the parts I had on my vehicle previously that could have been returned to the shelf in my garage for use at a later date.Thank you, OC Offroad, for the response. Although I am not concerned with worn-out springs, I am referring to the after-market Auto Spring 2.5" spacers that were on the vehicle above the strut spring assembly. I understand that worn and broken parts would not be returned.

Pete is transparent and straightforward about what needs to be done and how much it will cost. Both of my experiences have been good and he resolved the issues with both vehicles quickly.

Where do I begin? I first brought my 1971 Ford Bronco to Pete at OC Offroad to explore upgrades on my dream project. Pete carefully, honestly, and thoroughly provided me with options as he evaluated the vehicle. Over the course of the next 18 months, Pete was methodical as he segmented each of the areas warranting upgrades and sat down with me to review the project, costs, timeline, etc. Pete was always transparent and extremely competitive in pricing. The quality of fabrication, superior attention to detail, and true care and concern for my vehicle was without hesitation one of the best investments I have ever made in my life. The overhaul included: frame off, replacement of the entire powertrain to a 2019 Coyote including F150 transfer case and 6R80 transmission, custom fabricated interior, and dialing in the suspension. Results speak for itself, every time I drive down PCH or park it at a car show/cruise/etc., the vehicle attracts a significant crowd. It has now become my daily driver. I am extremely proud of this vehicle and it's thanks to OC Offroad for making my dream come true! I wholeheartedly, without any hesitation, recommend Pete and OC Offroad - the knowledge, skills, and passion that he and his team extended to me made this process truly exceptional. I would never go to another shop given this tremendous experience.

Best mechanic in town. Pete has worked on 17 cars for me over the years. Always quick service at a reasonable price. Does amazing custom work and specializes in off road vehicles. But he has worked on classics, modern, and sports cars for me. He knows electrical and AC systems well as well as fabrication.
