My daughter Adopted a beautiful male dog and the first day of getting home, the dog has worms alive in his feces, we called immediately the very first day and this Humane Society, The employees and the supervisor will not get rid of the worms For us!! This is disgusting and a horrible way to treat people that are rescuing animals! I don’t even think this is legal to send home dogs with worms and parasites!!! We are livid and not stopping until this is resolved!! I suggest you rescue from somewhere else if you want a Healthy dog when you get home!!!

We just stopped by to drop off dog stuff as donations for the shelter. They are understaffed but still are doing amazing work with the animals. We need more shelters like this one and dedicated staff with hearts of gold.

Great place with friendly staff. These people give all their time and effort to take care of these pups. All these negative reviews are only hurting the animals that need the help most. Really disappointing to see someone give one start because they were on hold for too long. It’s a great place and we need more shelters like this to help with all the terrible people giving away their dogs.

Our city contracts with Orange County Humane Society in HB. We visited today for an adoption event, and the manager Rose was so helpful. We went home with a new friend.

Trouble customer service. Lady in the phone was not helpful and was just yelling at me on the phone because I was confused as to why their address says Huntington Beach but yet she says they only serve Garden Grove, yet their place is called ‘Orange County ‘ shelter. Tell me what sense that makes..
Trying to find help to shelter my grandpa’s (who just passed way) cat. And instead of being helpful and courteous I just get yelled at by their receptionist. I would give them a no star if I could, super inconsiderate.
