Once again we had another amazing family event at Mayu Silk Art! Star is such an incredibly talented teacher; I love how she described the silk painting process to the kids, comparing the painting process with the way that water moves, swirling and curling. Thank you so very much!!!

Such a great experience that I think everyone and anyone could enjoy, no artistic experience needed! My girlfriend brought me here about a week ago and I had never heard of silk art before. I loved it. Star and Phil make for an awesome team, so friendly and inviting, and informative. They created such a relaxed but productive environment. Perfect little creative outlet where you're guaranteed to come out with something beautiful and completely unique.

Such an experience! Went with my family as a little birthday activity. The owners Phil and Star, along with the others helping (Rita and Katie) were super personal and guided us through the entire process. None of us are artistic, but they reassured that everything comes together and it does! You take the scarf home with specific and simple instructions on how to finish setting/drying your scarf. They cater to other groups like parties and corporate events. I would definitely come back with a group of friends or have a party hosted with them.

My friend and I needed to do something artistic, fun, and different, so we decided to check out the silk art business in Huntington Beach. Star and her husband Phil were welcoming, funny, and helpful. They taught us so much, and we love how they offered assistance and reassurance in areas we were confused and worried about. This was much better than paint and sip because we could be creative and come up with our design. I will be returning I loved the experience and it helps that the owners are great company!

My daughter and I made an appointment to make silk scarfs on a weekday. We were the only people there and had the place to ourselves. Star was very nice and showed us the techniques to make the scarfs. We had a great time and love our new scarves. We plan to go again next year. Great place for a birthday party or girls night out!

I was looking for a fun, unique, artistic activity to do with three of my grand-daughters and this did not disappoint! The girls are ages 14-9, one special needs. Phil, Star and Rita were absolutely stellar! Phil and Star greeted us and made us feel welcome right away. Phil gave a clear, short tutorial so we knew what to expect, and then they gently guided each of us with just the right amount of help to allow each person's creativity to flow. The result was a wonderful time together, four beautiful, unique silks, and the girls were thrilled and proud of their creations. They are hoping we can do it again! Of the four of us, I am the least artistic and even mine was beautiful! Thank you. Mayu Silk Art!

My daughter surprised me with this wonderful experience for my birthday. She always picks the best things to do together. The owners were patient, gracious, and very thorough with explaining the process and the why for each step (which I like). Both my daughter and I look forward to returning with friends.

My sister and I booked a private party for us and our mom for her birthday. Phil and Rita greeted us right away and made us feel so welcome. We all got individualized attention while making our own silk scarves. This was a fun experience and I would definitely do it again. Phil and Rita were so nice and we all enjoyed ourselves.

I had the most amazing time! Creative & fun, I learned to hand-paint silk scarves & bandanas & I have no artistic talent at all. Star & Phil Greenwood, owners, led us thru the process & then let us go for it with plenty of help along the way if wanted. We spent about 4hrs, it went by fast. Music, food, drinks & lots of laughter made for a perfect birthday party. Thanks Mayu Silk Art!!
