On vacation from NY very impressed by the bagels and coffee. Love how it’s in a surf shop as well

This is no longer a "locals" spot. We built a family tradition of walking down Main Street, grabbing a sunrise sammy (as we affectionately call it) and eating by the pier while we watch volleyball. When this started a few years ago the egg and cheese only was $4.75, when it went up to $6 it was a stretch but we accepted it's on Main Street. We stopped in today after a hectic few months and it was over $9, I think $9.75. I understand inflation and rising costs but this is just excessive for a microwave egg sandwich. I'll remember the fond memories and I'm sure tourists will enjoy the convenience of this location but I'll be bringing our egg and cheese sandwiches from home from now on.

You’re serving coffee, not great by any measure, and you tell customers they can’t use the bathroom because it’s not for the public?

I've been coming here almost daily since I was 12 years old. The coffee is absolutely amazing and the food even more so. Love this place

17 dollars for one slice of avocado toast that wasn't any more than decent. Sure it looked pretty but this thing wasn't filling at alllll for the price. Disappointed because it was a cute place.

Not sure if this nice young lady gets in trouble for this post but she's a 10 in my book. Stopped in for coffee, it was 6:30 a.m. and it was pouring down rain On Main Street HB. We ordered the coffee, tried to pay and their machines were down. She wasn't sure what to do. I suggested that she just give us a coffee and we would be back to pay some other day since we were down there all the time. Without hesitation she agreed, gave us the coffee. 15-20 minutes later we walked by, she was there, I went in and paid and she was thrilled that we came back. That's the way it should be. Thank you young lady. FYI, I did ask her name and I forgot what it was. So sorry.

At Java Point is just crazy cool. This little coffee shop combined two of my favorite things: coffee and surf boards. In honesty I'm more a fan of the boards than the coffee! Also, you don't actually buy the boards from Java Point, but since it's located inside HSS (Huntington Surf and Sport) you kind of can't avoid them.Java Point offers a good selection of coffee and teas and it's currently my daughter's favorite place for chai. I'm not a big fan of chai, but she says it's one of the best in the area. They also have small pastries and may even do some lighter meals, think sandwiches and the like. Just be careful not to knock on the glass as it scares the donuts (iykyk). So if you need a cup of coffee and a light snack and love surf and the beach, head to Java Point. I think you'll like it. You can even take your coffee right across PCH and walk the Huntington Beach pier while you enjoy it!Vegetarian options: They have some great pastries that i believe are vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place, lots of things to explore.Parking: There's a lot of parking options and if you are ok with walking a ways there are some free options too.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is.Dietary restrictions: There are a couple different GF options available in the pastry section as well.

Rudest barista in California! She asked me if I was going to order something. I said I was looking at the pastries. She asked me to wait over there and pointed to the surfboards. Also, she doesn't evidently understand the difference between a Cortada and a cappuccino. we ordered two Cortada's and got two cappuccino's. We were the only customers in the place.

I'm a local here at Huntington Beach. I moved here 3 weeks ago. I live right behind this building. I've been coming in almost every morning. I very much like the food but I have so far experienced very poor customer service..I've even experience one of the employees helping out a friend who walked in after me. The employee ( Cora) or some named close to that looked up at her as she walked in and asked her if she wanted her regular she always got. She replied. So she cut right in from of me, she rang up her order she paid for it. Got it for her, gave it to her and then looked at me and asked me what I wanted to order I had been waiting for a 5 minutes before the other lady even walked in
