Rooms: Very clean room, comfortable bed, spacious room with a gorgeous view of the beach and ocean!
Safety: I felt very safe.
Walkability: Easy access around the resort and to the beach.
Food and drinks: Many great choices! The food and drink at the Watertable were fantastic!

Whoa! My wife and I visited the Hyatt Regency during an impromptu getaway to Huntington Beach. We were not expecting much, but boy were we wrong!
From our initial steps on the property, the architecture was undeniable. Very clean and highly scenic. The resort was walking distance to plenty of restaurants and attractions; and a stone's throw from the beach.
The spa experience was incredible as well! We booked a couple's massage, and our therapist's were just great. The amount of included amenities at the spa was impressive as well.
The rooms were somewhat dated, but very big and clean. The bed was average and the tv was HUGE! We had an oceanfront room, and it was nice having a beach view to take in some amazing sunsets.
We're probably going to come back with the kids next year.

I have to say that Hyatt HB and all Hyatt hotels continue to impress me. They are very professional and always working to make my stay the best. From the front desk to the customer service personnel, they are top shelf. I look forward to future stays because they always make me feel like a VIP. Thank you, Hyatt.

Location is tough to beat with a private walkway to the beach. Pool and cabana were amazing. We had adjoining rooms with friends and the doors in between were very difficult to open and close. On the other side there was a conference room where people were setting up at 530am. Service was slightly apathetic at times, just hit or miss. Overall I would start here again as pros outweighed cons. Not sure my family would though.

A very nice recommended hotel. The hotel is laid out like a city in itself, consisting of several 4-story buildings with 2 swimming pool areas, its own bridge over the highway to the mile-long beach, restaurants for different tastes and a Starbucks store. The rooms are large, clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and pleasantly relaxed. The location is very good for excursions, restaurants and shopping are located in a mall that is within walking distance.

An amazing experience in the heart of Huntington Beach. I used to live in the area, so I was very excited to stay here as I visited HB. The staff was accommodating from the second we arrived until we left. We arrived very late at night so they gave us late check out for 12:30pm which was so kind. You also pay a resort fee and can stay on the property even after your check out time. We received a wristband for the pool and it was great for the beach and walking around downtown. My only critique would be the lights under the bed- if you get up in the middle of the night, they flick on automatically for 90 seconds which can be annoying if your sheet moves and they go on, or if you use the bathroom and don't want the light. There did not seem to be a way to control this.
Walkability: Walk to downtown, shops, the beach, restaurants, etc.
Food and drinks: Many options!

Very nice hotel, several pools and jacuzzis, late room service, responsive front desk, restaurants on site as well as a grocery
The pool is saltwater and is heated which is very nice
