My doggies are my world so finding a vet that I trust with my girls is a big deal. I took them for teeth cleanings last week and it went great. I was a mess because I was so worried about the general anesthesia but the vet tech, I think her name is Abby? She was great. Kept me posted the whole day. I think I had the hardest time with their procedure because they did great but I was a nervous wreck. Needless to say it took a lot to make that appointment and the only reason I did was because I trust the Doctor here. He is great and I know my girls were in good hands.

Princess Queenie had a very professional dental cleaning. We appreciate your care and love for my dog. Everything went very smoothly. Staff very friendly and professional. Tooth exaltation did go very well. They extracted 8th teeth. Procedure did go very smoothly and I was able to bring home my Princess Queenie on the same day. She is recovering now and have started eating little by little. My concerns was if she could go pee after Procedure, but she did later on next day. Thank you for love and care for Princess Queenie

From the incredibly positive front desk staff (Daisy is next level adorable and helpful) to the on-time nurse and vet- this place is amazing. No wait time. Great with my anxious dog. Highly recommend!!

Came here first time with a stray cat and met with Dr Wilson and her team (Abby.)
The kitty had been injured and they knew it was not my pet, and they pulled out all stops to help me with the bill (Discounted.) I have to tell you that this office and Team really care about your pet, it’s a very low profile simple office setting, but they truly care about the animals. (Office visits are reasonably priced as well $67 I think. And the prices for their procedures were priced well also.). I will be back!
Thank you Dr Wilson and Abby

While I was under the impression this veterinary office caters to ALL animals, it is WAY more dog friendly--walking in, there are fancy dog food options on display. I brought my cat in for a check up and an update for his rabies vaccination. The visit cost is overpriced, and, before going in, I had to sign an agreement for them NOT to take pictures of MY pet for THEIR website. Why do they want pictures of MY pet, for THEIR website? Aren't there stock photos, for that kind of thing? The receptionists were not particularly friendly, and, seemed rather bored when I walked in. My name is spelled wrong on all the information and receipts I received. I spelled it out at least five times, on the phone, while making the appointment, but, it was still spelled wrong. I have no use for their app, and will not download it. I have no idea if I can fix the spelling error, there. I was inundated with annoying emails for Huntington Beach Pet Hospital app download offers and other random things, for some days, but, was able to opt out of those. I did get computer generated texts to either remind me of my appointment, or, follow up, the next day, which is pretty standard, everywhere. The vet tech was friendly enough, she weighed my pet and said the veterinarian would fill me in on additional information, and answer any questions. The veterinarian seemed jumpy and nervous. He didn't really make eye contact. He, basically, rambled through a list of information he seems to have memorized, for everyone, while examining my pet. He wanted to "take notes", so, left. He spent less time looking at my animal than the vet tech, who spent most of her time talking about cost breakdowns for other examinations and offers that I didn't come in for. The room had a video camera, which was strange, but, almost understandable. Wait times seemed annoyingly long. I was NOT allowed to watch someone give my pet his shots, and keep him company so that he would not get more scared than he already was. I paid for the shots, got a form that said they were done, but, I'm not sure he got them--I hope so! I hope he wasn't abused, all alone, with strangers! I asked to use the restroom, and was not allowed, because "there are dogs, back there". Are these dogs roaming around? The OVERPROTECTION of the back area is concerning and, frankly? Slightly suspicious and unsettling. What do they think I'm going to do, if I walk through, to use the restroom? What is going on, back there, that they don't want anyone seeing? The whole visit left a very bad taste in my mouth. I hope to find a better veterinary office to bring my pet. I see the vet makes commentary on bad reviews--maybe pay more attention to the, actual, people and their pets, who are in your office, and not try to impress with all the Huntington Beach Pet Hospital apps and website offers? Why not give special care to ALL animals (not just dogs), instead of commenting on Yelp as to how you messed up?

HB Pet Hospital’s staff are so kind and caring. My 13 year old dog took a quick turn for the worse, and the vet talked me thru what may be the last stage of her life?. Appreciated that they did not do any unnecessary tests or charge excessive fees.

HB pet hospital sets a high bar. Staff is friendly and great at communication, scheduling, follow up. Facility is clean. Pricing is fair. Dr. Nichols has been great with my dog, thorough, and knowledgeable. No reason to go anywhere else.

They've been great for 3 dogs. One is being spayed next week. They wanted Maggie to have been in heat before sx.

I absolutely love how quickly I am able to get my pets seen. Every time I call to schedule, the office can accommodate my schedule and see my pet in a timely manner. Waiting times are slim to none once you arrive and the doctor is VERY knowledgeable and detailed. I have been to so many hospitals throughout HB and this is my favorite!

Dr. Nichols and staff are great! Good energy and happy animals fill up the place. We took our cat here recently after having moved from Tustin to HB. This veterinary office will be where we go from now on. They were friendly and knowledgeable and very transparent with their services. They took the time to explain everything and thoroughly answered questions and concerns. Highly recommend Huntington Beach Pet
Hospital if you need a doctor for your animals.
