A Nightmare at Huntington Beach HyundaiIf Yelp give out negative score, this place would have earned it.This dealership does not honor the agreed-upon price, even after negotiation and a gentlemen's handshake. The car was listed on Cargurus for $34,900. We called to confirm that this price did not include any markup. After a test drive and back-and-forth negotiations, we reached an agreement with a handshake on the posted price of $34,900.We were taken to the finance office where the paperwork was processed swiftly by the finance guy in less than 30 minutes. Impressed by the efficiency, we signed without thoroughly reviewing the paperwork, as everything was done on a signing pad without a printed copy. In hindsight, it seems intentional, possibly a tactic to mislead and take advantage of customers.Upon returning home, we discovered that we had been scammed. They added $5,200 worth of unnecessary additions, including a questionable $400 charge for nitrogen air, something readily available for free at Costco. Distressed, we returned the next day to voice our complaints. The salesman seemed embarrassed and claimed he was only following instructions from the desk manager, who had also shaken hands with us.Despite our repeated insistence on not paying any markup, they manipulated us into believing we had agreed to an out-the-door price of $38,500. The finance guy even overlooked a charge for Cancellation Contract Insurance, a critical component for returning the car in California, which lacks a cooling-off period.This experience serves as a warning, especially for couples who may not be financially literate. Always confirm the out-the-door price with everything included, and insist on a detailed breakdown from the finance guy. Regardless of negotiations with the salesperson or desk manager, this step is crucial.I plan to share this review on Cargurus, Google, and any other platform available. For the management reading this, if you are willing to rectify the situation by honoring the original deal, please leave your contact information here. This would demonstrate that your business operates with integrity rather than engaging in deceptive practices.

Just traded in our 2022 Tuscan for a 2024 ionic 6, Eman made the process so easy. He put up with us being indecisive and asking so many prices. He got us a great deal, we couldn't be happier. This will be our second lease with Hyundai HB- we will be back in 48 months!!!!

I just bought a 2022 Chevy Corvette at Huntington Beach Hyundai and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Christina Prunier walked me through the entire process and was very helpful and accommodating. The manager Shant also assisted me and made sure the process was seamless. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the market for a new vehicle!

Overall, I really did have a good experience at the dealership. But there were a few things that annoyed me. The first one was when they did their inspection on my car they recommended a bunch of things to fix one of which was getting an oil change. However, I had just change the oil three days prior. That is so frustrating that is certified mechanic is recommending that I change my oil after I just changed it a few days ago myself. The second thing that happened was when I left the dealership. I noticed hours later that there was some dirt and grease on the roof on the inside of my car by then it was too late to take it back and tell them about it. But I was disappointed that there was no attempt to clean it. And then the last thing was this make and model of car had some kind of warranty for the paint because it ships off apparently, I had just recently learned about the chipping as it has started in my vehicle not that long ago so when I asked about it and they said unfortunately, it was out of warranty by about 14 months. I tried to explain that I never received any sort of notification email letter about that issue so I didn’t know how to proceed. The level of customer service I received from the agents that I had talk to you. We’re very good very professional. I just wish that Hyundai would’ve done a little bit more to handle the issues that I brought up. Overall it was a good experience so that’s why they get three stars.

I experienced an engine failure and had to have my cartowed to this business on October 26th. The servicerepresentative, Christian, told me he submitted my warrantyclaim to have my engine replaced and that I had to hearback the results from Hyundai. A week later, Christian toldme that my warranty was rejected by Hyundai and quotedme the repair cost of roughly $10000. I then asked for therejection letter from Hyundai that would show why thewarranty is being rejected. Christian then confessed thatthe warranty had never been requested. I paid for theinspection and warranty submission and the work was noteven attempted. Furthermore, I was lied to that Hyundai hadrejected my warranties. It was only after I pressed Christianfor proof of the rejection, that he confessed that they didnot do their job. This is blatant stealing by the staff members if they are not even attempting to perform the services in which they are paid for. I would appreciate a general manager addressing this employee/situation.

5 stars for Christina!!! From start to finish, she was knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and didn't pressure the sale. Good communicator and down to earth. She made sure I got the car that fit my budget and life style perfectly. I recommend her to everyone!!!

I recently purchased a Tucson hybrid at this dealership. This was the first time I have ever purchased a car on my own. Christina made every effort to make sure I understood the process and was comfotable with the deal we made. She was personable as well as professional. I would recommend her and the dealership.

4/5 stars from me for overall DEALERSHIP5/5 for Christina! Christina and Anthony were definitely the most helpful during my car search. Anthony unfortunately was injured off work, but Christina did a pretty good job at keeping in touch with me regarding the car I was keeping an eye on. The only reason I gave a 4/5 is the communication between the shop down the road and the actual dealership seems pretty poor. Why? I had scheduled an appointment for Friday and was told the vehicle would be on site at the dealership. The vehicle was NOT there, Anthony then called up their repairs/inspections team to view the progress and if the car could be available for inspection/test driving and thankfully it was. I then made it known that my family and I would be visiting the very next day to possibly purchase the vehicle and was told it'd be ready. The vehicle was NOT ready and I received pretty much 0 communication about this. Turns out the vehicle hasn't even STARTED inspections and was an entire mess of "he said, she said" which lead another 4-5 days of "still being inspected." Thankfully I still was able to purchase the vehicle, but if you're interested in a used vehicle MAKE SURE IT'S ACTUALLY READY FOR VIEWING. Side note: Bring a mechanic to inspect any used prior to purchase. They have (as of 10/22/23) a 2022 Hellcat Widebody on the lot for sale and test drives despite the intake on the hood wasn't even properly seated. I had immediately informed the staff there the day I noticed it while admiring the car and when I went the next day it was still not fixed....kind of concerning considering that the car is listed for 81k and test driving with that part loose/shaky can be dangerous. You can see in my photo where the left side of the plastic of the hood vent is sagging downwards. Be meticulous, be alert, make smart choices :))))

Recently purchased a 2023 Sonata Hybrid. I couldn't be more happy with this car. The dealership is extremely clean and well organized. My salesman was the best. I had a car that needed some engine work and they were able to be give me a decent price on the trade-in, and more importantly I was able to get a pretty good interest rate on the loan. If you are in the market for a new vehicle you should most defiantly visit Huntington Beach Hyundai.

There's a reason this place has a D- rating from the BBB...seeing I'm not the first person to feel fully misled by an ad on their website.These guys straight up won't honor the lease deal that is on the front page of their website. Literally the first thing you see when you go to HB Hyundai's website is this Ioniq 5 lease special which should be running through October 2nd...it's advertised as $339/month+tax with $2499 due at signing for a 24-month lease with 12,000 miles/year...but when they came back after "running the numbers" they let me know that there "was a mistake" that the ad is no longer being honored. Personally don't like being lied to so doubt I'll shop with them.

I had the best experience with the handsome salesman Mo. he was sooo helpful and attentive. I had questions about a used car there. He replied to help and kept me updated on when the car was ready. Even on his days off he kept me in the loop. He has a great attitude people friendly and a great sense of humor. If you want to buy a car and you want someone to go above and beyond please as for Mo. thank you Hyundai for letting work with him. He’s amazing. After purchasing my vehicle he still kept touch with me to see how my family and the car is doing. Thank you Mo.
