I can't recommend this gym enough! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of belonging. The equipment is top-notch, always well-maintained, making every workout enjoyable. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff - they're like a supportive family, always there to cheer you on and offer guidance.

I love this gym! I've tried other gyms, but always quit. The YMCA in Huntington Beach has a variety of classes that will meet your interest. The sauna is a definite plus. People there are super friendly including the staff, who always has a smile when greeting you.

I have been a member of the Y since they opened the Huntington Beach location. The HB YMCA is a great place to workout for all ages. If you enjoy classes, they have a large variety of classes with excellent instructors. The staff is amazing. They always welcome me by name with a smile.

This is a really good gym. great classes and instructors, friendly people. I wish they would offer at least one more body pump class during the week.

I'm very impressed with this facility and the variety of fitness options that they offer. After not visiting a gym since before COVID, I found my previous gym sadly lacking in group classes post-COVID. I'm 71, fit, but still needing a less rigorous class than what I could handle years ago. And, I'm not an early bird. A friend suggested trying this branch of the Y. Staff are attentive, instructors are engaging as well as motivating, and the variety of classes almost all day long can fit any schedule. I'm hooked!!!

I just love this gym! I've been a member since they opened as the Y. I love the friendly, family atmosphere among the staff, members, and instructors; that motivates me to come each day. The classes I attend are challenging and have helped so much to get me to, and maintain my fitness level.

Great gym! Helpful and welcoming staff. Best instructors who are motivating and very skilled at classes they teach. Personal Trainers are very knowledgeable and train using free weights and machines. I've lost weight going to this gym but have gained lots of muscle. Thanks HB YMCA!

It's super convenient and close to home. This image used to be a Gold's gym and so has some great free weight options as well as a lot of great machines. I love the yoga classes and how they will soon get back to longer classes. If they had a 75 to 90 minutes class instead of only 45 minutes I'd give them a 5 star.

I enjoying this gym because it is close to my home. However...NO ONE wipes down the machines as requested. The "Y" should have a recording every 15-30 minutes reminding patrons to wipe down the machines. I wipe before and after using the treadmill, weight machines, the rowing machine, and the bicycles....because I am so afraid of diseases or infections. When hands are contaminated with disease-causing bacteria and viruses, these pathogens can enter the body or pass from one person to another to cause disease. Two major illnesses that are transmitted on the hands are diarrhea and pneumonia.

Not your typical family YMCA, this is more like a real gym gym. Indoor cardio equipment and weight machines and then there's the garage free weights and more weight machines. No pool no basketball court or big locker rooms like the other YMCA. Super clean environment, no kids running around and they have classes too.
