Horrible service - don’t book here! I booked a 7 passenger SUV through orbitz. Then called 5 days before the rental to confirm the rental which they did. Got a confirmation email 3 days before my reservation to confirm it again. Then 2 days before my reservation, I get a text that says they can’t accommodate my reservation due to not having the vehicle. This was on a Saturday at 1130am and I’m supposed to pick up the car Monday at 8am. I tried to call the office and nobody picked up - they pretty much told me my reservation couldn’t be guaranteed OVER text and said they’ll reach back out on Monday to let me know for sure. Horrible business operations, communication and management. You can’t just tell somebody their reservation is up in the air less than 48 hours before their reservation and tell them they’ll know for sure when they go to pick up the car. It wrecks your vacation plans and now I’m scrambling to find another rental. Thanks for nothing Hertz! Will never rent from Hertz ever and will pay extra money at another company.

Demand a walk-around / assessment of the car before you rent it. Take your own pictures. This Hertz office charged me for cracks to the windshield that I do not believe I was responsible for; the employees at this Hertz (where I returned the car) admitted that the employees at the office where I'd rented the car had not done their part and provided an internal assessment or photos of the car before renting it to me. I could not prove that I didn't crack the windshield, but they couldn't prove that I did.

Horrible is all I can say. Booked a car and confirmed. Showed up and I was told no car. I was told there’s a ‘glitch’. I then checked the website it still says there are cars available. Why?? Another customer showed up and his car was not available.

Staff was friendly. Although I got stuck with an electric car. Not that big of a fan, since they take a while to charge up and then I was like 45 minutes late returning the car, and ended up getting charged an extra $40 for the late return AND got stuck paying for the power to charge it. So renter beware, if you get stuck in one of those electric cars, just return the battery empty, you'll save money

Terrible service, was overcharged for the dirty/smelly car. They charged me for gas when I returned it with a FULL TANK!!! Also, Two weeks after returning the car these thieves put a Platepass charge, from out of State, on MY credit card!! PROTECT YOUR CREDIT CARD against FRAUD AND DON’T GO TO THEM!!

I made reservation and got rental confirmation. When I was at the office there was no car to pickup. Talked to the manager didn’t help at all. They left me in the middle of nowhere. This was not professional at all.

My mother was recently in a car accident and needed a car for a small family trip, so our insurance company set up the rental of a car at this location. Upon dropping the car off today, they threatened to charge her an extra $400 if she didn't vacuum the car bc there was dirt on the floor. She is actively going through physical therapy and wears a brace because of her recent accident, and since our insurance negotiated for the rental, Hertz 100% knew this and still forced her to crawl around the car to vacuum it. Never in her or my life has an insurance company ever made us clean a car upon Drop-off before. This morning was absolutely assonine and we will never be renting from here again.Edit: to respond to the company's reply to this review. If you actually cared, maybe next time don't copy and paste your response from your response to another 1 star review and only change the name. This just shows that you don't care enough about your customers to actually take their thoughts into genuine consideration.

Absolutely horrible! Had prepaid for a car, and when I get there, I'm told it'll be an extra $10 per day. I would've had the car for a month, and would've been an extra $300. There were no other comparable upgrades, that was it, for a Honda CR-V. I wasn't gonna do that, so I just left, and had to call corporate twice to get my money back, which was a hassle.These other people before me, were pissed too. Didn't have what they wanted, and offered a truck for an extra $100 per day which they didn't want.More unsatisfied, disappointed customers.

BEWARE OF CLEANING FEES! or prepare to vaccum the interior before you return your rentalMy rental did not start off well, I had to wait an additional 2 hours from my reservation pick-up time which was unfortunate as I had a 6 hour drive that day. Upon pick-up I was advised that there would be a $400 cleaning fee for smoking, pet hair, and/or sand. Well, I don't smoke, don't have a pet and did not go to the beach, so not a problem.I dropped off the rental this morning and was told I would be charged $400 unless I vaccumed it. I challenged this, there was no smoking, no pets, no sand. Desiree said it was supposed to be returned in the same condition as it was picked up and there was now dirt on the carpet at each seat. What? Are you supposed to take off your shoes when you get into a vehicle rented from this location? I have never had to vaccum a rental car, ever! I had this rental for ten days, obviously there will be dirt on the floorboards. But she has my cc number so I'm stuck.Did I mention the rental was due to a MVA? Desiree was well aware I had been in accident, I walked in today with a brace on my knee and a lumbar pillow I use when I drive for back pain. She said there are no exceptions, but, how convenient, there is a car wash next door to this location with free vaccums.When I came back with the now cleaner than it was when I picked it up vehicle, she thanked me for vaccuming and told me that she was actually only planning to charge me $100. Well, how nice. I asked where in my contract it stated that I had to clean my own rental, she told me to go over it and I would find it in the fine print. What?So I read the entire contract. There is NO mention of any cleaning fees other than for smoking. NONE!The one possitive thing I can say is that when I called back to let her know that the contract does not actually say anything about cleaning fees for floor dirt, or any other dirt for that matter, I spoke to the manager. He apologized. Which Desiree never did. He originally defended her saying that if the vehicle has to be detailed because of excessive dirt, they have to charge a fee. I pointed out that I am over 60, with an injured knee, shoulder and hip, and I vaccumed that vehicle in less than 30 minutes. Probably would have taken me less than 10 if I wasn't in pain. So pretty sure it didn't need to be detailed. He apologized again. So at least there's that. Needless to say, I will be reporting this to Hertz and I will not be renting from this location again.
