The worst bank in HB. Very unprofessionally managed. i know several people that will never step foot in that bank because of the poor management.

No stars. Greeting was non existent. The new accounts acted as if they had no interest in us whatsoever. The first gal looked at us and said I was just getting up. The other relented and said she would be with us in a moment. We had attempted to set something up months ago and there was absolutely no follow up. We sat down and inquired to open an account AND not just a couple thousand a sizeable amount and we were pretty much told the bank didn't need money. How strange a bank not needing money in accounts. They pay only 1/2 a percent due to the fact they don't need money. Well good luck with that! LOL We had other accounts we were going to move over as well. To quote Pretty Woman, You screwed up big time BIG! LOL

This is my new bank and so far, I'm impressed. Karen is great! She set up our business account and was super helpful. Union Bank / US Bank is a dumpster fire right, the merger is NOT going well, so this was a great time to switch banks. Much more personal service. We own a small local business so it's just a much better fit. Added bonus, walk in and look over your left shoulder ... fresh cookies.

I have been banking with this branch at F&M for approximately 25 years and I love this bank. My family has been banking with them for even longer and they love it too. I have had other accounts at the same time with Chase, Bank of America, smaller Union banks etc. but I always keep my primary accounts at F&M and I always enjoy seeing the people that work there. It's nice being able to call or walk through the door (or drive through) and have them recognize you and know who you are. Very happy to have this branch near my home. I would definitely recommend banking with them!

Well hate to say this but still the slowest bank I have ever dealt with. A while back Google asked how my visit to this bank was. I was contacted by the manager who was very nice and apologetic. She suggested on my next visit I should try the drive thru. Well I did and it's also very slow service. I was the only person at the drive up window and it took 5 mins. Now that may not sound like a long time but I normally bank at the credit union and can be in line behind 3 people and still get faster service. Try sitting silently for 5 mins. Yes I know you're thinking why don't I just use the credit union, well I need an account separate from them for personal reasons and as soon as I no longer need it I will close it. I've heard the Seal Bch. Branch is much better.

The best bank in the business - what a pleasure! A live person always answers the phones ready to help - no menus. When you walk in the branch you receive a warm greeting and you never have to wait in line - plenty of friendly tellers. I can't say enough about this great banking experience, I have my business accounts, PPP, Disaster Loan and personal accounts here. All personnel are knowledgeable and eager to help. Fast, efficient service with a smile! Thank you Farmers & Merchants Bank!

They are helpful on the surface but when I had an issue I was transfered around, put on hold and given email addresses and excuses as to why I couldn't get help. They dont like to get on the phone to help you when you have a problem. I'm glad I figured this out shortly after opening my account before transferring money to their bank. To be fair I think the people working in the bank genuinely wanted to help me but they were basically trained to pass the problem along down the line. Noone could do anything to actually help solve anything and the people who could help simply weren't accessible. This bank is not user friendly in my opinion. Not to mention almost everyone in the branch is from a foreign country. I felt like I was in some spy ring nest. Two ladies from Iran, one from China one sounded Russian and the manager is from Israel. I've never seen anything like that. For better or worse. Just what I seen. Kind of weird to see that in NewportBeach. Nothing against any of them. It just looked kind of strange.

After opening my account I was having trouble uploading documents for my ppp loan. The staff are not able to help with anything. They just give you a phone number to a call center when you have a problem. Noone would help me. After a week of making phone calls, being transferred, put on hold then told to call back in the morning, only to be given an email address the next day, after going inside two different branches to solve the problem and the employees telling me that it's handled in remote offices somewhere I mean my whole experience was a total nightmare with these people. In the meantime I'm trying to run a business. I think I've found more competence and concern in the DMV. I'm closing my account (and it's going to cost me $30 bucks to close it, after all of this)

I just came here to cash a check from my grandmother who passed away. The manager, a blonde lady with a face shield was so incredibly rude to me about it I'm literally in shock. Asked me why I wouldn't have taken it to where I bank, and then acted like I was d*** for not knowing their bank doesn't carry that much money on the weekends. I left in tears. I've never had someone be so rude at any bank, ever.

I do most of my banking at a credit union that only has 2 branches in Orange County. Three times I have needed quarters for laundry and have gone into this branch and have gotten them without having an account. I have been to Chase, B of A, Wells Fargo..... and all will not allow you to change $10 for quarters with out having an account. I have been to other Credit unions after having used their ATM to get money and they will not allow me to have quarters with out having an account. Thank you Farmers and Merchants Bank of Huntington Beach. You are the last honest good bank. I may end up moving all my accounts to you.
