Wonder how much they would charge for a new prescription?

Rude workers. One came up to me offering to help scan an item for me in the self checkout line. I declined and said I was fine and he then went to loudly mock me with another one of his workers not too far from me. Crazy how by not accepting his help because I felt bad to have him do things for me he then goes to talk s****

I love coming to this Costco for lunch sometimes. Not too far from where i work. Me and my crew came here for lunch today. We ordered 3 large Pepperoni Pizzas and drinks. Costco make some of the best hot dogs and pizzas here. After that i got a couple shopping items i needed for home. Nice atmosphere, The lunch crowd really come out to Costco. Being that they are surrounded by so many other businesses off near Beach and Edinger. Anywho, We pigged out and had a great lunch.

Did you notice how all the shopping carts at Costco are the 'jumbo' ones, no mini-ones allowed...almost daring people to spend less than $200 if you grab a cart. And on weeknights and weekends, more often than not, it's varying degrees of demolition derby inside. We maintained our membership for a couple years after we moved to California, but stopped as the hassle made the shopping experience more aggravating than pleasant. Well...we renewed our membership after a 3 year absence, two months ago...and...as long as you avoid the peak hours, it can (almost) be an enjoyable experience. We DID get a large cart this time, and sure enough, we ended up spending $200. This Costco location seems to have a lot more Asian type food than the others, and we took advantage: Tonkatsu ramen noodle bowls, Activa pro-biotic yogurt (24-pack so extra incentive to finish it before it expires), and finally got a window sun shade. The larger-than-life rotisserie chicken is still $4.99 (how do they make money on that), and we even picked up a 'street taco kit' for $14.99 that made a delicious and filling dinner for two.Costco is wholesale warehouse retailer, so there is always going to be new, 'can't find it anywhere else in this quantity/prize' items scattered. And items will be scattered throughout the store, more for the convenience of the distributor than the actual consumer I think. But it continues to be the best at intersecting cost vs value, and worth it, if you can put up with all the quirks of warehouse shopping.

Best Wine Selection of all SoCal Costco stores. They rotated some high end wines behind their glass display and I love their picks. Be aware you will have to take a picture of the item number, purchase it and go to merchandise pick up.

I swear to God this is my last review for this company. The reason I am still here is because I live very close to this warehouse. I already quit their membership for a long time but I got another one as a gift from someone.Yesterday my friend and I were walking around the mall. She wanted to get a piece of pizza. There's only one person behind the windows running from one to another. Because there's no one at the register, I reached to the stacks of cups inside the window to get a clear cup for water while my friend was waiting for her order. Right at that moment, a middle aged Caucasian woman showed up and yelling: don't ever put your hands and spread the germs in here. I replied: there's no one for me to ask for help. She kept yelling and I pushed my hand out. The cup was rolling around the counter, she grabbed one and threw it in front of my face.I was speechless. I have heard a lot of complaints about Costco, about the way they treat their customers like dirt, but I've never expected to be treated such horribly. The following day I came return the membership. It was just purchased a couple of months ago but the young guy asked me if it's ok if he refunds $40 to me? I nodded without thinking. I just wanted to get out of that place asap.I feel much relieved as if I just empty a burden in my heart. I live by myself, with the membership I keep shopping like crazy and become a pack rat without knowing it.About gas, I would rather pay a little more somewhere else than waiting in the long line. Usually, we tend to drive less when we have to pay more, right? Please do not treat your customers like a second class citizens, Costco. We don't go there to ask for anything free, do we?

This review is dedicated to the greeter/receipt checker lady named Toby (old skinny Caucasian working the afternoon Friday shift for any supervisor reading this). I gave her two receipts and I swear, she must have missed her calling as an IRS auditor because she probably set a record for time spent with one customer; although this wasn't the problem and I'll get to that shortly. Keep in mind, I'm with my wife, we presented her with two receipts to account for all items in our basket and after a few minutes and literally, double checking through the basket again, I thought to help her out and point out the item at the bottom. Through her scamdemic mask she retorts "I can read!" She then aggressively flips the receipts back to me and follows it up with the stankiest look. Look lady, you didn't find anything and I wasn't rude or aggressive, so why the attitude? If I were trying to steal (which I wouldn't) 1. I wouldn't give you receipts. (Have you seen IG lately where some punk thought it was a violation of his "rights?" Lol. Yeah that's not me. 2. I also wouldn't show you items that you might have missed. I'm doing it to be helpful and make things more efficient since there was a line forming behind us (because of you). Overall, Toby you might be racist (I'm Hapa Hawaiian, Asian) or merely lack customer service skills to perform that job, or both. Either way, I'm glad "you can read" because this was one for your reading pleasure. Also, don't forget to change your name tag to Karen.

I frequent this location, especially with high ticket items (lower tax rate in OC). I also like that their gas lines are not as long as some of the other Costco locations. Parking is ample and the lines move very quickly at check out.

Wow... What happened to customer service here?? The girl who assisted me tonight had a major attitude from the beginning... Wondering if me telling her I wasn't a member had anything to do with it??As I recall, COSTCO returns were quite simple and they were accommodating for gift returns, but I was literally treated like s**** Keeping my cool, but she acted like I was an imposition and possibly because I wasn't a member it was ok to treat me disrespectfully? She asked me for the name and phone number of the member who gave me the gift and said she had to verify the price. She went on to tell me IT WAS A PROBLEM because he charged it and it should actually go back on his card. I reminded her that I'd rather not let him know I was returning it, OBVIOUSLY. She called for a manager to override something and told me SHE WAS TRYING (rolling eyes here) to process the return so the member wouldn't know. 2-3 times I answered her question and also asked her a question, where she didn't make eye contact nor respond. We were talking thru a plexiglass COVID shield, NOT a sound barrier. I could hear her questions and attitude without any problem, yet she acted like she was ignoring my response and questions. Totally rude!! She handed me a COSTCO gift card, so I asked her if I could go purchase something in the store. She said YOU CAN ONLY PURCHASE GAS and since I was not allowed to return the bottle of wine, she told me to TURN AROUND AND GO PUT IT IN MY CAR, then announced it on a speaker "a member will be coming thru with a bottle of wine!!". With the experience I had tonight, I'd never consider being a member. NO THANK YOU. You may want to remind your employees, specifically, Synclare, that people should be treated with respect, whether they are a member or not.

Kia and Marleen at food service, service could have be better. Kia at the register said digital payment didn't work at food service outside. They said sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Used Apple Pay instead. 0/10. Kia was friendly nothing wrong with her service but management needs to figure out why digital payment only works sometimes. Called in for a pizza that said 10 min wait. 30 min. Later not ready yet. The lady ahead of me had her baby with her and they told her 20 minutes to which she waited 30 minutes. I went in front of her to tell them to help her out because she's been waiting a long time, it's not right to tell anyone a time and then not follow up and at least say a few more minutes. Took forever to get a pizza that I called ahead for. If they need more time fine but at least let people know, Marleen, how long to wait.... 10 minutes when calling ahead but being told 30minutes? Not acceptable just say something.... Marleen at pizza pick up, please be honest about wait times. Other people who just ordered at the register got their cheese pizza before I did. Even though I called ahead and was told 10 minutes.

I’ve been going to this Costco for gasoline. The prices are high but no-where near the price in Los Angeles that is pricing $2 more expensive :)

I purchased a Nespresso machine here for $180 and came back two weeks later and saw it dropped down significantly to $130. After doing a bit of shopping I went to the "returns" area and requested a price adjustment. The gal at the counter begrudgingly gave me the adjustment, but not after I was given an earful. She said my digital receipt on my Costco app was not acceptable and they only do price adjustments with a hard copy receipt (of course, because they want to make it harder for you to save money). Plus, no where is this in fine print, so was she making this up? She said she'd allow it "this time." On top of that, after she was doing her thing she stated she needed a manager approval to "make sure" it was allowable and to verify if there were still Nespresso machines selling on the floor for the new price. I've never heard of this kind of disclaimer before - again, another made up excuse? It's just upsetting Costco can put roadblocks like this to keep you from their 30 day price adjustment policy, when it doesn't suit them or when they don't feel like honoring it. Thankfully in my case it was given but not without a bunch of shame and intimidation messages. It's laughable that people can return opened food products which cannot be resold, but when requesting a price adjustment on something I'm keeping I get kickback.
