Selling rotten broccoli here's a photo. Lettuce as well. Toby I believe is the older lady's name who marked off my receipt. I walked over to return the broccoli and walked out past here again in a matter of 4 minutes and wasn't too kind when she asked who checked my receipt when she had just done it herself....

Red headed angry guy working the fast food window was very rude and upon my turn he asked for my Costco card, he didn't ask any other guest for same information, I said let me get my card it's in car, I said can I give u my name or phone number, he said I don't think your a member, at that point in time I left and had no time to come back!

What's there not to like about Costco? I always come in for 3-4 things and end up leaving with 10 items. Tried Sam's club membership but even going in there for 1 thing I left with 1 thing, thinking there really isn't anything there I want. Costco, my allegiance is to you. Always and forever

This review is strictly for the food court. The newly introduced automated checkout system has flaws, there are two ways to now purchase items at the food court; the kiosk and the traditional method, kind of. The kiosk is very convenient but it seems that way too many people are using it causing a long line to pick up your items. The traditional method is one of which is there however it is cash only and we found out the hard way. Cash only once you get to the very front of the line and the cashier nonchalantly tells you this. We understood and commented that a sign should be put in place only to feel that the comment was on deaf ears. Costco please do better.

Stopped for gasoline today around noon, thought might as well grab a quick hotdog. Ordered and received my dog and drink then walked over to the fountain area which had no ice in the dispenser, the area was flooded with water so I had to tip toe around the mess trying not to fall ! Next stop was the condiment area which was a pig sty ! No napkins or straws no onions or relish. Ketchup was not was not working properly the counter was dirty. One worker was walking by when I asked him about calling some one and report this mess, he told me it wasn't his department #$#@&*&+- ! What has happened to my beloved Costco where quality,service,cleanness and friendly staff was the norm ????? I went into the store and asked to speak to a supervisor which I did and explained which she apologized and offered to refund my $1.50 ! I told her it wasn't money and I've run into the same situation at other Costco locations, is it not enough employees or lack of proper training ! I wasn't the only one complaining ! The only reason I gave 1 star because a plain dog on a bun was still delicious !

My recent visits to Costco Huntington Beach have been far from satisfactory, primarily due to the management's apparent lack of focus on key areas. Firstly, the obsessive checking of membership cards both at the entrance and again at the self-checkout is overbearing and creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. The condition of the products, particularly in the perishables section, is concerning. The presence of moldy fruits and other perishable items on the shelves highlights a serious oversight in maintaining basic food safety standards. Additionally, the behavior of some customers in the parking lot is alarming. There's a noticeable trend of reckless driving among those in luxury vehicles like BMWs, Audis, and Porsches. Their irresponsible driving, often at high speeds and with little regard for safety, poses a significant risk to other customers and contributes to a chaotic and unsafe environment. It's clear that Costco Corporate needs to intervene at the Huntington Beach location. The current management team must be replaced with one that prioritizes the quality of products and the safety of its customers over stringent membership checks. The lack of attention to these crucial areas is unacceptable and demands immediate action.

Found this hot sauce collection and I had to get it! Great value for this collection! They had assorted sauces and this is great for gifting your family and friends! Also the flavors are good too!

Staff are only helpful when you ask. You could be standing at the admin area for minutes and 20 employees will look at you and ignore you. They all talk amongst themselves. They will only be helpful if you interrupt them and ask them for help.

Yes, we have made this Costco store ours. Say the word, and I automatically drive to this store where I regularly fill my car with gasoline. Today was a run to the store to get a very specific product that was a Vegan Chocolate wrapped box ready to gift. We searched all the aisles for this special Belgian made treat. We could not find it. We asked two very eager to help Costco managers, and they checked the description and fotograph and even a stock number listed. Unfortunately, it was not available at this store, and the information we had looked like it would be a regional Costco offer. We struck out and thanked the managers for trying. All is not lost. We did find all the freebie samples and snacks. We continued to shop for other items, and then I decided to do self checkout. That was easy as long as you use a Visa CC.

I finally decided it's safe for me to be at a Costco. So I got an Executive membership in October. So glad that I did. I remember all the times I went with Grandpa Tom to the Costco in La Jabra before COVID and before he went into assisting living. I've lived in HB with my bf for awhile. So this Costco is very close by and is very convenient for toiletries, vitamins, fruits & veggies and special items. So many items to choose from and try. I love all the different options. Been coming to this Costco for 10 years. Once several years ago, I purchased two car seats and they only charged me for one. I noticed on the receipt and walked back in to customer service to correct their mistake that only messes up their inventory and costs th em money. Another time about 2 years ago they forgot to give my husband part of a table set and he went in to get the other chair package and the lady is giving him a $600 card like he was returning it. Again my husband is honest and tells her he is not there for that just the 2 chairs. He could have took the chairs and $600 credit. So we have about $800 in Costco mistake Karma that I thought would help me out when I accidentally left some battery packs I purchased in the top of the cart yesterday . I unloaded the heavy items and they got missed. I noticed within about 2 hours after I scoured the car, and all over the house thinking maybe I set them somewhere but realized I left them. I called the store. Spoke with Jerry. He tells me no one has turned them in but if I call tomorrow they would probably replace them. I thought wow that would be amazing because I wasn't expecting that. I say, well I should come back now and check the carts? maybe they are there? Why would I wait to go in until the next day. I go back and I talk to 3 cart guys outside and look at all the carts lined up. It's 6:30 pm by now. Then I speak with the manager Victoria who tells me to call back in the morning to see if they get turned in during the night. I call back just now (the next day) and they tell me they were not found and they will not replace them. I get it. But don't put that out there--Jerry. I wasted a lot of time calling and holding to just end up repurchasing anyways. FYI--good sale on AAA AND AA right now lol. But never again will I correct their mistake. Good relationships go both ways. You give me free stuff again by mistake and I'm keeping it. The score is Costco $800, Me none. Also, stop moving everything around. I get it--you want people to walk around and buy more stuff but I won't make a trip anymore for certain items even if I pay more at the grocery store because sometimes you just want to pop in and out--not walk around for 20 minutes because they moved the coffee aisle that week.

How is it? Do you have gas attendance not doing their job in directing the traffic there's a line here at the center Avenue location that these guys are just standing there under a tree not doing anything waving at times mostly on their phone but not even doing the job of directing traffic so you have a huge line that's not being attended to. How is this possible? You're paying people to do nothing managers take note And action.
