I have been a member since January 2000, and decided my husband needed to open an account with SchoolsFirst. We went in on June 11, 2022. This branch is beautiful! The gentleman at the front desk welcomed us. He thanked me for my membership of over 22 years. He also thanked me for bringing my husband in to join. We waited about 10 minutes; it was a busy Saturday. We were greeted by Miguel Vazquez. He was dressed professionally, welcomed us, thanked us for our patience in waiting and asked us to follow him to his desk. I already had an account, so it was fun to see how Miguel presented the credit union to my husband. He discussed the products and process. My husband received his ATM card right away. Miguel also did a "re-cap" of EVERYTHING he discussed and did for my husband. Miguel told me he has been there about 9 months or so (longer now as it has taken me over a month to find time to write this!) I was SUPER impressed with this young man. Why is this so important to me??? Because I worked for SchoolsFirst years ago, I left in 2008. I am SO HAPPY to see that SchoolsFirst continues to demonstrate WORLD CLASS MEMBER SERVICE! I am proud to still be a member. Great job Miguel! I hope you get recognized for your professional and friendly service! YOU IMPRESSED ME!!

I've always received excellent service here. Yesterday I tried going In To Schools First to get a new debit card and a few checks printed. Unfortunately I arrived about 5 minutes after their closing time. Ray unlocked the door and asked if he could help me. He did everything I went there for and was basically a very nice human. I've noticed that in our community there is very little good customer service. It was very nice and refreshing to be treated like a valued client. Thank you Ray for the great service! I think you deserve a raise!

I wasn't happy about the customer service I received by one of the personal banker, so I asked to speak to the branch manager, Alyssa. She quickly changed my perception simply by being warm, validating and apologetic on behalf of the previous personal banker. She was also very knowledgeable in all the bank products and provided me with a better options for my needs. I can tell that Alyssa values every customer that walks in her branch!

Dear SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, Parking is easy here but it's a whole shopping area so make sure to watch out for baskets and people. It gets pretty packed here for sure. Lot is well maintained and easy to find parking in. Atmospheres good inside and glad they moved some to have a wider open space. Glad to visit and the regular line is quick and more than one person at the desks to help always. Last time I got helped with doing a loan and asking about credit limits. Turned out very well and thank you for your 29 years of service with schools first. Customer service is on point and they always ask for anything right when I step inside. Friendly and helpful people once I step inside. Price point really isn't concern here, but make sure to be working at school district to become part of the clientele here. Awesome bank and helpful people working here.

Came to get some money out of the ATM and while trying to park i could hear a male that was standing near the doors saying he was a veteran asking if anyone could help him out with money. I went to the ATM and witnessed a female tell him no. Immediately after she went inside a male in a suit came outside and asked the male if he was waiting for a ride. The male asking people said yes and the conversation ended. After finishing i went inside to find the male in the suit to tell him what was really going on. The male then came back outside and told the male asking for money to leave. The male agreed to leave and left after asking me for money and when i said no he began shouting as he left.

I went to the bank last week. When entering the line seemed fairly long but it went by super quick. Within 5 minutes I was already at the banker. The workers here are supper friendly and they put the extra effort to make sure you're happy. Social distancing is enforced here and face masks are also required before entering. PS this is their new location *same plaza* and looks amazing!

I went in to this branch today and I'm so happy I did. Kaylee was so kind and went above and beyond, THANK YOU! I had limited time with my lease ending and needed to apply for a loan to purchase my car. My stress level went from 100-0 because she was patient, very detailed, and stayed until after 5 pm helping me. My first time purchasing a car was easy thanks to the great customer service here at schools first Huntington Beach!

I had an issue with my dead name and my real name (I'm transgender) and I didn't catch her name but teller 3506 and her manager helped me out and were incredibly understanding and accepting. It's hard to come by businesses and employees that will be open hearted and caring for our trans community and this interaction made my day. I'm a proud SchoolsFirst member because of instances like today. Sorry I didn't catch your name, 3506 but thank you!

Every employee I've ever come into contact with has always been so pleasant and friendly whether it was on the phone or in person! I have loved being apart of this credit union. Nothing but positive things to say about SFCU and the staff at this location!

I just wanted to say how lucky I am to be a member of SchoolsFirst. I met with Kathy Nguyen. She was amazing, helpful, and the sweetest soul. One in a million!
