The banker didn't display all important information when I opened the CD account. She didn't tell me that my CD account will roll over next year with 3% flat rate if I don't renew the account or close it within 7 days after the account reach 12 months. I lost $530 when I closed it.

As of today my employer still not received his check mail back from the bank yet. He is calling the bank everyday and same answer it is in the mail.

They deleted my previous post, lol I came in to open an IRA, it would've been a new relationship with Citibank. I was assisted by a girl name starts with B, when I told her I wanted to open an IRA, first thing she asked me was who is your primary bank, you should take it there. Itold her I like the rates offered here, she still insisted I take it to my primary bank. I can tell from the beginning she was not comfortable doing IRA, as she kept brushing me off, giving whatever excuses not to help. I don't think these banker get any incentives with IRAs, since it get sent to their retirement center to process. I've never seen this level of service or lack thereof, and I work in the banking industry. I would be so embarrassed if I was her, the lack of professionalism. I thought a banker would work in the banking industry. I would be so embarrassed if I was her, the lack of professionalism. I thought a banker would want to help and possibly discover a financial need that there might be a deposit relationship attached to this IRA. I walked away with a sour taste in my mouth, I was very happy to get less than 1% of what they were offering at another financial institution, because they wanted to help and wanted the relationship. Hopefully Citi offer B some client experience training, she definitely needs it.

This is one of the better banks to use. Employees still have positive attitudes. The explanation of offers they have, are friendly, and kind. I recently moved my money into this bank. How they treat their customers is far and above where I had my accounts before.

So I called and spoke with this branch today Citibank (Huntington Beach, CA ph#: 657-215-3463) at 1:05 pm today and it was a very big mistake because I spoke with a very arrogant manager that needs to be trained on proper customer service or terminated. He was rude. I wanted to inquire if I could cash my insurance check from Farmers which is issued by Citibank and he stated no, despite the check issuer being Citibank. When I asked him the reason he rudely answered but was using bank terms I was unfamiliar with which led to me asking additional questions in which he became agitated and upset stating "I'm not going to argue with you". I was shocked on how he said it and how quickly he became verbally aggressive based on one question because my intention was not to argue nor did I expect him to become upset. I did not expect such hostility for asking questions or clarifications. I should've just physically went to the branch and would like to see him talk to me that way in person because I highly doubt he would!!!!!

I stopped by Citi in Fountain valley. the banker tells me to go home and call customer service, can you believe that?Huntington beach branch on Edinger and Becky Jimeno help me called Citi's loan center. even tho Becky explained to me it is the same amount of wait time if I call myself vs persoanl banker.Becky cared more rather than dismissive. a little simple words of empathy goes a long way.

The atm has taken my deposit money on two occasions and then hit me with an error message, eating my money. As a result I will have a 100$ late fee with my rent payment. How is this problem not fixed now? Now I have to coordinate with my work in order to come by during business hours in order to have my account credited. This happened 6 months ago and it happened tonight. Insane

Citi bank is hands down the worst bank ever Beware horrible horrible customer service do not bank with them ! they stole my money and when I ask to speak to a manger they hang up on me multiple times went into the branch 2 different times and they can’t help me !

Better hope nobody skims your debit card info. This happened to me, they racked up about $800 in charges. I reported this immediately, Citi refunded me the $550 or so from some charges, but denied the $250 from the other. How does this make any sense? They were all charged back to back, in similar manner. Yet some are legitimate but others aren't? Not to mention I spent about 2hrs on the phone with them, and I'm still out $250. I thought that's what our bank is supposed to protect us from? Apparently not Citi

Found out from another branch that they are unable to open their ATM, someone who assigned to work the ATM stops by to pickup weekly. It is not the same as years back where branches representative take the ATM deposits in to process manually, she were right about that. But the way she manage the call and situation would've been better.
