Great place. Went in just to check it out and has since become a great place to relax and pet some cats.
Just sit there and be respectful of the cats and your lap will become valuable real estate.

Wonderful experience visiting with the cats & kittens. My kids and I enjoyed every minute cuddling and playing with all the cats. Thank you so much for such a great opportunity.

Cats are very docile for the most part, but remember, they are animals and not yet completely domesticated. There are definitely some more friendly than others. If you are good with cats you will enjoy.

Staff work hard to keep the visiting areas clean and the adoptable kitties healthy and happy. So many fun events every month !

First of all shame on anyone that would put a poor review on this place or any rescue quite frankly. Unless you believe the animals are being harmed or abused purposely. Instead you should offer to help/volunteer. Good grief, do you have any idea how many cats and kittens are being euthanized at our local shelters? As a rescuer and crazy animal lover, I know from personal experience that this place is doing amazing work.
In my experience of the cat nap hangout, I absolutely love it. I’ve never found it to be dirty or smelly, on the contrary I can’t believe how clean it is in there. This place is absolutely top notch and I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to adopt or volunteer or just hang out with cats. ❤️❤️❤️

Loved this place! So many active cats interacting with people and other cats. Thank you for approving my application and allowing me to take home this bundle of joy!
Update: It's 9 months later and Lacey is such an angel! Cat Nap Hangout really provided an open environment for people and kitties to meet, and it helped unite the two of us.

Super great place to relax and pet cats in a non caged environment. A way better way to get to know each cats personality before making the long commitment of adoption. Petting the cats helps socialize the cats that people don't harm them and is a great stress reliever for everyone, especially those who suffer from PTSD.

We wanted to check out Cat Nap and support them with our visits. Upon entry, we noticed there are at least 70+ cats in a big livingroom, plus maybe 20+ in the small kitten room that smelled like feces. The cats were playful and very lovely. However, a lot of them have gunk in their eyes, or dirty ears, faces, hair, and long sharp nails which actually hurt us visitors who were interacting with them.
The recommendations to help this place to get better adoption rate is if they can take care of their cats better by giving them more attention and care, specifically more grooming and medical care, reducing the amount of cats in there, and clean up the space, blankets, litter, fans, floor, mats, etc. Charge more than $20/visitor so that there's more fund to provide more support for these loving kitties.
A lot of cats look like they're neglected, and sick, dirty. They did not have enough wet food to go around, we saw the cats fought each other to get a bite during the feeding hour. Visitors are allowed to wear shoes inside making the space even more dirty. We had to disinfect ourselves coming home to our own cats. We were considering adoption and after what we saw today, we would go elsewhere to find a more healthy, and well-cared for kitty. I'm very sadden to see their overrun, unsanitary setup and how many cats are in bad shape there.
I understand that the shelter is trying to save as many cats as possible but this is not the way, there has to be a better way.

Always wanted to go to a cat cafe and this one did not disappoint! Lots of kitties to snuggle and play with. Very clean and pleasant. Even a kitten room?! I love that the kitties are all rescues and most of them are adoptable.

They moved to a new location (next door) and it's a lot less chaotic.

Probably the very best experience for your soul. The cats are very well cared for and freely live happy with each other. It's a great feeling to love and be loved, and this is a place that leans into that. Do something good for yourself and the world, and stop in to see this little slice of feline heaven.
