This place is great. Caro, is very understanding, honest and upfront with his opinions/thoughts, better real than fake. He was able to set a diamond in a setting, that I both purchased elsewhere. He took care of it in a timely fashion and quality of it came out amazing. He polished the unfinished setting and it came out showroom fresh. Please support his business and not mainstream retail stores who do not care about your needs b/c they just want to sell you something to make their commission. Caro cares and is not looking to take advantage of you.

This is a professional jeweler. He went above and beyond to show everything that was wrong with my ring. I had a missing diamond and took the time to show me all diamonds were loose. He did all repairs that were necessary for a reasonable price. He gave me and a peace of mind and is a real honest man, highly recommended!

The lobster claw clasp on my necklace broke. I noticed their shop this past Sunday, and stopped by today, Wednesday. They had the clasp size I needed, and had the old one off and the new one on in mere minutes, even soldering the clasp in place. Very friendly, very skilled and I highly recommend. They are at the corner of Beach and Talbert.
Update: I have a black pearl pendant from Tahiti. The pearl separated from the pendant. I took it to this shop. They completely repaired it in just a few days for just over $80.00.
The most important reason I use this shop is that I have complete trust in them.
If I don't feel that sense of trust, I won't leave my 'memories' in their hands. I've been burned before.
I highly recommend this shop.

I customized some tungsten and ceramic rings for my partner and wanted to customize it further with engravings. There was none in my local area, but the owner connected with me and was very helpful. He doesn't engrave in house, but he did put in my rings as an engraving order and the process was very smooth and quick. Overall, it took less than a week for my order to be done, and the results are exactly as I expected. He did caution that the ceramic is more fragile, so the engraving is more shallow. As for the tungsten rings, they came out very clear, and they were able to do accent marks.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The customer service I received at C and R Diamond jewelers by Caro Z was the best customer service I have ever received anywhere. I needed some glasses fixed and was leaving town two days later. I knew this was short notice, and was hoping for the best. He took it upon himself to take extra time out of his busy day to fix the glasses in time for when I leave. He was extremely nice, extremely professional and overall an absolute pleasure to deal with. Highly highly recommend!!

Honestly I was so excited to get my ring and necklace fixed but sadly the work done on it was poor quality. Keep in mind my necklace has broke two before this and had paid less to get it fixed with no issues at other places but I wasn't able to go back to one of those stores because they where farther since I moved. He had mentioned that my necklace was hollow but it was a gift that my parents had given me so it meant a lot to me. It broke my heart to see that he melted two links together and I now had this unprofessional chunk of necklace holding itself together. For the ring he put a bigger stone in a smaller hole, it also had dents on areas where he tried fixing it plus in areas where there wasn't any before I brought it in. I had full trust in them to make sure they took care of my jewelry but instead I had to replace my necklace and get my ring fixed at another place for way cheaper and did an excellent service.

Needed a clasp repaired on my necklace and visited Caro based on his great reviews. When I showed him the necklace he gave me his utmost attention and asked questions about how it broke. He took the necklace and said he'll try to fix it without charging me. As we conversed, I told him that I picked his place because of his excellent reviews, close proximity and that I like supporting small businesses so I have to pay for his service. He walked back to me with the necklace in hand expressing his appreciation and said the necklace was fixed and that it was free. Wish I had cash to tip him. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Excellent customer service!

Carl is amazing and truly came through for me in a pinch. I waited until three days to look for a specific type of earring for my wife. Went to other big name jewelry stores and no luck. Carl literally came around the counter when he heard me talking to an associate, asked additional questions and told me he could "make" the earrings I am looking for. He had them ready by the next day and they are exactly how I envisioned in my mind. My wife will be very happy come Christmas morning. The earrings are of our new born birth stone.

I have a few watches and I found them to be “extremely” friendly helpful and Caro Zakaryan the owner is knowledgeable a seasoned veteran jeweler and most of all
Very good people family run business I met with the father Caro AKA owner and daughter Margarita they have the best price on everything also they do excellent custom jewelry work Caro is highly seasoned jeweler highly crafted in the art of custom jewelry
I had a rare bracelet a gift from my late mother and it was taken from me and as I draw the design he knew exactly what I was looking for and even gave me a few excellent design options and most of all
His price was so low that I had to actually gently question him
It was a nice surprise for a change
I had asked the same question from other “well known” mall jewelers and they were polite enough not to laugh in my face and I was told I should go to LA jewelry district
NO ONE IN OC CAN HELP ME
But not him
And the price he quoted me was 30% lower than what I was quoted in LA discount jewelry district 50 miles away each way
And he is local right here in HB of all places
How sweet is that ?

My wife and I went there to size a ring but because the setting of the diamonds to size down it might cause them to fall out. One of his solutions was to wrap the bottom which they did for free. Great customer service from a family owned business.

I haven't been able to wear my wedding rings for years because of arthritis in my middle knuckle. I took my rings to Caro to be resized and he noticed the settings were very worn down (I've been married almost 36 years). He fixed the settings and resized it and I can wear my rings again. I'm very happy with the work he did.
