These guys are the real deal. I'm a single female and I used to work at a mechanic shop and I know my way around but they didn't know that! These guys are family men who value their customers and are in business because of their repeat customers due to their integrity and attention to detail. They care about what they go and they're well versed in warranty's and they go the extra mile. They even wash your car with an oil change!! 5 stars for sure!

A much better experience than going to local Honda dealers. Mike and Shane are very helpful and are extremely thorough with their recommendations. Tacky upsell recommendations, like you would experience at Norm Reeves, are never found here. Shane, Mike and team are the real deal. The car wash after service is the cherry on top. Great job guys!

I have been taking my cars to Autowave for 11 years and have always had wonderful service. They work with me if there is time issue to where there has never been a problem. Shane and Mike are great!!

As their business name says, they are indeed Honda and Acura specialists. In 2011, they installed a supercharger on my Civic SI (pictured). Man, what a fun car! Mike and Shane are extremely knowledgeable and will steer you the right way. I recently took my new SI back for a tune and as usual, it was a seemless experience.

I contacted Autowave for work on my Honda Hybrid. I chose them after having posted in the Fountain Valley Community Forum asking for local recommendations and SO many people highly recommended them. Also, I know that work on hybrids can be tricky and you really want someone who knows all the ins and outs.
Mike took a long look at my car and its issues. He really took his time both talking to me to see what happened and very thoroughly doing his best to diagnose the problem. He even contacted the Honda dealership to pick their minds.
In the end, the problem was not fixable, but rather than have me waste a ton of money finding that out, he was up front and honest about it and saved me a lot of time, money, and trouble. I really appreciated everything he did as well as his integrity.
A reliable, honest mechanic is hard to find, and I definitely recommend these guys!

Picked AutoWave from positive reviews when we moved to OC from NYC. Mike and Shane and their staff are very friendly and competent. Brought all our family Acura and Honda cars in for service and repairs. They are honest and reasonable for the work needed. It’s a peace of mind to have such competent repair service when you need it. Would recommend them to all my friends and family!

Saved me a couple hundred on a repair to my Honda Hrv and even showed me the broken parts and explained what happened. Don't go to Honda for repairs. Come here and learn while you're at it.

I had the pleasure of doing business with Shane and Mike, owners of Autowave, in HB. I took my 2007 CRV with 199K miles to them for an engine light. After a thorough inspection, it needed a lot of work. They did a great job, and my car feels like a newer car!! I had a very memorable experience.

I was recommended this shop by a friend who has trusted some of his amazing high-end builds to Mike and Shane. My clutch went out on a Sunday night and they were able to get me on the road with a new one very fast and went above and beyond with service. Very satisfied to have found a new trusted shop to work as the service was exceptional.

Both Mike and Shane were very pleasant. They were helpful with helping me sort through the priority of the repairs of my car. I didn't feel pressured or taken advantage of. My car was ready when they said it would be.

I have a 2014 Acura. 167,000 mi. Auto Wave has kept my car running smoothly. As it gets older it’s costing a bit more. Mike and team keep the cost reasonable. I only bring it to Auto Wave!!

Mike got me in for an oil change right before they closed on a Friday. They also let me know I didn’t have any torn boots as the dealership had suggested I had which saved me big $$. I like that they only work on Hondas/Acuras as I take good care of my baby and want to make sure others take care of him also. They seem to know their stuff so this might be my new spot for future needs. Prices seem fair too.
