Of all the garden stores I've visited, Armstrong is my favorite. They have the widest selection of organic plants, their staff is always knowledgeable and friendly, and they even offer special orders for MANUKA plants! Mine are on their way

When one visits an Armstrong Garden Center it is a tantalizing experience for the senses. Yet, what I appreciate most is their knowledge and expertise. It is like having a trusted doctor available for our treasured garden.

I love this place. Plants are beautiful and healthy. Great selection as well. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Not the cheapest but well worth the money.

The staff here is so nice and helpful! I'm a beginning gardner (read: I have no idea what I'm doing) and the staff here has always been very patient and helpful, explaining what I'll need step by step and offering to help me diagnose problems with my plants. I recently came in after receiving a beautiful new pot for Christmas and I wanted to put a fun plant in it that was dog safe. Sara helped me find the perfect plant that wouldn't be too hard to take care of, was safe for my dog, and still fun looking. She was patient as I asked her a million questions and didn't hover over me when I said I'd have to think about things or look through options she had shown me. She was always close by so I could bombard her with more queries but I never felt pressured. In the end, I ended up getting a nice mandarin spider plant (which I didn't see as an option at the Sakioka nursery or Lowe's) and some funky purple moss (again - didn't see this anywhere else). This will definitely be my go-to garden place from now on. I really appreciate the staff not making me feel stupid as a beginner and taking the time to walk me through what is probably a very mundane project for them but is a huge undertaking for me. Thanks Sara (and others!).

I have been to a few nursery's but this place to the spirit of gardening back into my life.The customer service was ???.... Everyone was helpful and knew there stuff....and made the experience worth wild....thank u....

Decent selection. pricing is steep. Was going to rate lower until I ran into Asher(who was awesome and very helpful) but many of the other workers seemed very unfriendly for people that work at a garden center. Return policy is also more forgiving at Home Depot or Lowes

I came here looking for specific plants once and ended up buying a bunch of sunflower seeds. They do have a lot of other plants if you're interested.

This is my go-to nursery. I always go here first. We have gotten my favorite avocado tree (Fuerte) from here and it is thriving! I'm always searching for different color variations of astroemerias and they often have them here. Very helpful staff. They might not always know about everything but they can direct you to who might.During my most recent trip, a staff member was able to explain why I haven't been able to find a citrus tree that I have been looking for for months. Additionally, she took the time to walk me to my car after an older man in an old green truck had harrassed me and my partner on the way in. She really went above and beyond!

Watch who you are talking and asking to,especially at this location of Armstrong Garden Center. Only 1or 2 employees know what they are talking about. They shouldve said they don't know the answer instead of pretending they do. Never felt been welcomed. Also overwatering or underwatering plants most of the time.
