I dropped my vehicle off yesterday and was told I'd get a call my noon. Come 2pm no call. I called at 2:30 and 4:30. No answer or call back. Today I called at 9am, no response. I drove by at 10 and they are not open on a Friday despite their door saying open 7 days a week. Frustrating I'm left with out a car and no one to communicate with. They reconnected me later and did their best to fix my vehicle.

Highly recommend a AP for your car care needs. They're very responsive and professional. They carry AMSOIL - the highest quality synthetic oil on the market. And offer many general repairs as well as oil changes and maintenance.

Thank you AP Cars for taking care of my 2013 Ford Focus. Fantastic job in doing my front brakes and oil change but OUTSTANDING job the following two weeks in doing my transmission service. My car had a little hesitation during shifting from 1st to 2nd gear but after you guys did the transmission service with the correct transmission oil and the added bonus of the Lucas Transmission additive, the car is shifting like a dream. I highly recommend this family owned and operated shop to everyone. Quality work, fair pricing and honesty...what else can you ask for in a shop? Love you guys!!

I've been jumping back and forth from car mechanics all my life. When I needed to get some control arms repaired my boss referred me to his mechanic right around the corner from my job. I was hesitant about going to another mechanic and having them give me the whole sales pitch and tell me they can't find anything wrong with my car. I took it in and I was greeted by Aj and his father. Wow talk about the nicest people in the world. They make you feel at home and are not there to over charge or up sell you on stuff you don't need. They take care of your car like it is their own. They send you pictures and texts message every so often about what they found wrong with your car and makes it feel more personal than just being another customer. When I went to go pick up my car they explained everything that was wrong and even showed me what exactly was the issue. Pictures and videos of what they did and replaced. I was honestly surprised on how much I learned about my car from taking it to them. I wish all mechanics did the same procedure as AP cars does. Over Aj and his father or excellent mechanics and make you feel like family. I would hands down recommend them for any car repairs or even basic oil changes. They will be my mechanic forever!

Must support this family owned business! AJ and Polo are the nicest mechanics you'll ever meet. My process from beginning to end was great. You can tell they love what they do and they love taking care of customers. I didn't expect a wow factor in covid19 safety prevention but was surprised. From the beginning, a plastic sheet was on my car seat and steering wheel and my keys and credit card were UV sanitized before returned to me. They even UV sanitized inside of the car just in case. I don't think you will find this anywhere else. It's the first place anywhere I've been to with this! AJ looked up my car history on Carfax for things that could need looking at (that maybe I was unaware of or forgot) and the new repairs were uploaded to Carfax for future use as well. I came in for an oil change, back brake light and front fog light repair. Service fees are reasonable, excellent and best service I've had!

I came to this place based on a recommendation and I have not been so pleasant surprised by auto service like this before. This is a family own business run by the owner and his son. The mechanical work here is done with a lot of ethic and pride behind it. AJ and Pablo walked me through my car and carefully explained (in great detail) what their possible diagnosis of the car is and other different diagnoses. He laid out a plan about how they would start their service of my car and what to expect. In addition, they utilize a text update service that allows them to text the specific issues of my vehicle, a breakdown of the price, and list of priority. The option to have it explained by AJ himself is always available. They enjoy doing their job. I get out late at work and they willingly stayed until 9pm so I can get my car back. They patiently explained the work they did and even had recorded the service done and what the issues were on the vehicle. I was thoroughly impressed by the extent of transparency and professionalism displayed here. On top of that, they pulled out cold beverages for my girlfriend and I as they were explaining everything to me. I highly recommend this place.

Had a scheduled appointment. Shop was opened on time. I had my Kia service for spark plugs and was recommended to do a fuel induction service. The fuel system service really made a difference in my vehicles performance. AJ and Polo were very professional and explained every step they did and even showed me video recordings of all work performed which brought ease to my mind that they are very trustworthy and do what they say. I will definitely recommend them to anyone in the future and will be bringing my vehicle back for future services.

I had a wonderful experience at AP Cars. Polo and AJ are true gentlemen that have the client interest in mind at all times. The thorough exam of my vehicle was absolutely comprehensive and transparent. I left knowing exactly what was good and bad with my car and exactly what I paid for. Thank you guys! AP Cars in Huntington Beach is the most amazing independent shop!!! They take pictures and videos of what they fix and go over step by step the process. They are the most patient and lovely family owned company. As a female, I feel 100% comfortable with AJ and his dad Polo, because they take the time to make sure you understand the repairs. They are a top notch shop and absolutely amazing humans. I would give them more stars if they let me. Tires, oil change, brakes, even window wipers with no job too big or too small. Highly recommend AP Cars!!!
