I walk by this place frequently with my dog. One walk my dog stepped on a piece of glass and sliced her paw pad in half. I walked in and asked for a bandage or some gauze. They told me they couldn't help unless I made an appointment. I ended up carrying her the mile back home where I had a bandage. All was good, except I will never darken the door of this place ever again. I'm glad I already have a vet, or i would be disappointed.

I just moved to HB and followed Dr Anne whom used to treat my dogs in Long Beach hospital. I have to say she’s a true jewel. She has helped my mini Doxie from a difficult situation to walk again. She treat both my dogs like her own. I admire her dedication and honesty. She always seems to have time to answer any questions and help me with any concerns that come my way. My dog Chilli is happy and walking again. She’s a true angel

I love to support local businesses and took my brand new adopted pet there for vaccinations, in part because of the low er cost for office call. I needed also to have MD address the 2 present and obvious concerns. I spoke to most people in the waiting room to get their impression of the place, in addition to reading the reviews. To be fair, the majority of people have been going there for some time. One lady even told me that Dr Botros saved her cat's life, diagnosing a horrible allergy. I also had a conversation with his daughter (also a Doctor Botros) who saw my pet on an emergency on the same day of injections. I didn't have to wait when she was suffering from respiratory distress after injections.. W Single hat I didn't know was that charge to see her on the same day was $75 in addition to the 40+ dollars I spent for the initial appointment, because it was an emergency. Well, I chose not to commence with the $1900 recommendations which is fine at present. What I am concerned with an objected to was the manner in which the medication was dispensed, handed across the reception desk by the receptionist with very little information as to how to dispense it I had to call to find out how/when to use the ear wash, for example. When I called back, the receptionist mentioned having the antibiotic refrigerated, which was nowhere on the instructions on the tiny bottle. She then told me perhaps it did not need to be refrigerated. When I took my dog back with labored breathing after the injections, she was treated with a nebulizer, etc., but no one ever called in the days following to see how she was doing at home... also her ear medication said use 10 drops for 7 days - the $33 bottle not nearly enough to Yes, complete this!. I could've and should've been sold the larger one twice the size for $50 ... How does this get overlooked??? Nor did I receive the email with the results of the fecal test, as promised I had to call for it. I don't know it's not the $400 that I spent. I think it's more that I'm looking for more personalization and follow up care. I know there's lots of people that are happy here, and your mileage may vary. They have a busy practice with lots of apparently happy people. I wish them well. I just won't be back.

I went in to AAA to pick up medication at a very busy time, however Savannah behind the front desk made quick work of all the patients in front of me and got me in and out of there very fast. She was amazing!!

I took my cat in because she was not eating, and lethargic. She was not exhibiting signs of constipation. The doctor came in and continued to push x-rays because my cat could have a blockage. I denied the x-rays, but he kept pushing x-rays because she could have swallowed something. She doesn't eat random thing off the floor. After a fecal exam that I insisted on, it turns out my cat has parasites. However, the doctor kept trying to sell me x-rays. I went home and looked up the symptoms of constipation and blockage in the intestines. My cat had none of those symptoms. Even when the doctor pushed on her stomach, there was no response from my cat. The next day, my cat pooped in the litter box. She didn't strain or cry. She just went poop like a healthy cat. Thanks for selling me all the extra services. It looks like you're earning your reputation. I'd rather be an honest vet that customers would want to bring their pets to, Instead of Avoiding the Vet.

Every vet is expensive, these guys aren't as much as others I have used. They are nice and very clean, Doctor's are nice and explain well. Only thing is they put you on hold when you call in and sometimes it takes 10 min or so.

Stay far away from this place! The Dr. and staff have no compassion for a dying animal. They will charge one fee and will try to get more money out of you after they lock you into your service. The doctor and front desk are cold and heartless. They released my cat out of there without a box because they said they had no more boxes, no aftercare instructions, no medication, no bloodwork paperwork they charged you for. They charged you $500.00 for ten minutes of work to clean an abscess. The response you will get from this doctor is "How do you know I'm a doctor and you can just take your cat.". I had to go to another Vet and was told the cat needed to go to the hospital and it would cost at least $10,000. I had to put my sweet cat down. If only AAA Hospital would be upfront on price and have compassion for a cat and person mourning a very sick cat. Unbelievable!
