I came in with my son, a beginner surfer. We were looking for an affordable wetsuit for my 6'2" son. Bud, the owner was so great. He took a lot of time helping my son look for something that would work, even though we didn't have a lot of money to spend. He was patient in helping my son whose never worn a wetsuit adjust it for the proper fit. He gave us a great deal within our budget. The shop is cool with kinda a 70s vibe. Thanks, Bud. You made our day.

Love this surf shop, the owner is so chill and rad. Its like the idea, of what your mind draws up as a surf shop, which is why I like it. Laid back, after school kids hanging out. Lol ? guys laughing. Just cool.

17th Street Board Shop has been around for many years and this is another place that was on our way to the beach. You can get bargain deals here i bought 2 pairs of shoes from a couple years ago and I still wear them, they are my Steve Caballero Van's and I love them, there light weight and have a special sole for more comfort. My California style 1969 VW Bug takes me to 17th Street Board Shop now ??♂️?. When I was around 10 or 12 years old me and my friends would have to take the bus, not anymore. Thanks for some awesome memories there. It was someone who worked there years ago that got me interested in an older VW. Thanks man. I'm a lifelong VW Bug and Bus owner Thanks to you. ?
