I really enjoy shopping here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have hot food in the back and a carneceria with a good number of choices as well. The meat always looks fresh and the store is always clean.

I have to say, the groceries are hit and miss when it comes to quality. The carnitas was so dry and overly cooked. Which is disappointing considering 2lbs dinner was over $55.

Aside from being a great grocery store this has one of the best taquerias you will find anywhere. Authentic Mexican food that the locals flock to. Make sure you go Tuesdays for the homemade rice pudding.

This review is solely based on the churro experience. I was in this store looking for chicharone but they didn't have what I needed. I happened to walk past the pan dulce so I figured to get my kids some. I saw the churro and I got excited. I paid for my pan dulce and left. I literally ran to my truck so I can dive into the churro. First bite and I was like GROSS! This has to be the worst churro ever made. It tasted as if it had sat in the pan dulce case for days. I'm not joking. The inside you can see the dryness. Almost a white flaky inside. I have had 100% better churros from Costco and I don't even like Costco churros. It was so disgusting that I tossed it immediately. Perla should be ashamed. Ashamed for putting out gross churros. I should have taken it back but I didn't want to deal with the hassle.

This place use to be the $#!*..no longer a regular..my belief is if a restaurant/ grocery market is delicious than it should still be..staff and management produce good apples and unfortunately they got away..quality is just not there for tomorrow but if it's short notice and you are cooking that same day then you just may be in luck as long as you prep to your likings...another words ..if you have a choice go elsewhere it just may last longer...corporate management is also a bunch of angry closed up people.......not a happy ending
