A very small, intimate winery off the beaten path but worth finding. If you love those intense mountain cabernets you really need to seek this winery out. I can't remember having a better host or a better wine tasting!

For nearly three decades we have produced elegant and balanced wines from our Mendocino hillside estate vineyard, as well as a few selected vineyards in California. Hand-crafted at Alta Orsa Winery means: no tractors or equipment in our organic no-till vineyard, and minimal use of pumps or machinery during élevage.
