“Large, clean and elegant facility. I attended a memorial service there. Easy to find and I believe that parking attendants are available for parking your car. Very nice facility for large activities or events.”

“My event was in mid March 2024, and we toured Evergreen Springs and booked them in late 2022. Even though the team did not start actively reaching out to work on detail planning until 4 months before our event (per how they work!), every time I had questions before then and emailed the team, they responded super quick and always answered my questions.

We loved how they had items included in their packages, including DJ, catering/bar, floral, photographer, officiant, and grand sparkler entrance. Even though some required extra cost, it was helpful for us to add just a bit more $ but less headache having to find another vendor. Also, in our detail planning, we found out they let you use their lanterns, votives, vases, and easels for no charge at all on the day - that was a pleasant surprise. The team even helps charge items overnight (such as our bubble guns), prepares petals for the ceremony walkway if you purchase the flowers and give them to them during your rehearsal; and even gave us a beautiful gift to us before the end of the night on our event. In conclusion when it came to our team (Kali & Anelise), they were phenomenal, and I would never stop recommending them.

The only items we were a bit upset about were:
- even though you do not need to pay 25% until 6 months before the event and the rest 50% 10 days prior, keep in mind the Elk Grove tax increases every year. So we were hit with some more fees, which I did not account for when budgeting
- the photography team (API) did not reach out to us until we mentioned this to Anelise during our last detail meeting (10 days prior), and she reached out to them. API did send me a nice long email explaining that they normally don't until the week of, but promised they would start reaching out to their clients sooner so it doesn't become another couple's last-week stress factor. The photos came out super gorgeous though (ask for sunset pics!)
- same issue with the DJ. The event binder said to email him our song list a month before, which we did, but we didn't hear back from him until the week before. Again, he noted it was due to wanting to have details fresh in his mind for the event. That made sense, but on the day, he still overlooked a few items we asked for. For example, we were under the impression that he was going to play songs from our Spotify playlist ONLY for the dance party, but he only used some of the songs for reference; he said that he does not play the full songs to rotate more songs, but he did on the day for the dance party (some guests also mentioned the song transitions were off); a few announcements were not made clear (such as announcing cake cutting or the taco bar)
- could not find the banquet captain after the reception/our event coordinator left for the day. Communication with the ES team went kind of downhill after Kali left.

Besides the frustrations mentioned above, we loved Evergreen Springs and would recommend it. Just make sure your communicate with them and their vendors very clearly. There is plenty of parking, a huge and beautiful bathroom for guests (very important), a beautiful getting ready room for the bride with a private bathroom, and as mentioned a wonderful team.”

“We had our wedding here almost a year ago and it was incredible. The service was top tier from start to finish. We continuously got compliments on the beautiful venue choice as well as the food being the best they've ever had at a wedding. I'm personally a major foodie and was blown away by how good the dinner was. All around incredible experience with professionals that were able to pivot for unexpected circumstances and really nothing short of a 5 star experience.”

“You can't say enough about this venue. It's a destination that goes through the Delta on levee roads with wildlife, boats and a generally slow, scenic drive once you leave the freeway. The food was really delicious. The menu is huge, varied and sumptuous. There were a few asian (Chinese and Indian) that were good. The desert bar was huge. They also had fresh fruit with bowls of chocolate sauce and whipped cream. It was worth the price. However, prices go up $20 in Sept. The service was fine, but refills on mimosas/champagne were slow, usually requiring me to ask and I'm not a huge drinker. It's an elegant spot for weddings.”

“Today's event was a multicultural festival day in which everyone gets to share a little bit about their heritage. The weather was perfect this year compared to last year because it was raining last year.”

“The Elks Lodge on Riverside/Florin is such a warm, hospitable place. They have re-opened Sunday breakfast with a to-order omelette bar, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage. Juice, coffee, tea. It's all really good and well worth the $15.”

“What a treat in Elk Grove. My brother is a member and took us for a round. It was an amazing day with lush fairways and challenging greens. This course kicked our butts on the greens. They look easy and that's just it.”

“Great Venue! The building is actually a sports complex, however, it transformed to a multipurpose facility this weekend. The Creative Space and Sacramento Asian Pacific Cultural Village hosted the first ever Asian Pacific CultureFest and we were here to support local small businesses. My daughter actually was one of the 80+ vendors who participated. SASF is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1994. This nice, large, clean facility can accommodate different types of community and sporting events and can hold a lot of people. It is actually a basketball gym and is located in the Laguna West area in Elk Grove (near the Apple Computer facility on Laguna Blvd). Family-friendly place. The venue and the staff were great! There were restrooms in the facility and also an in-house kitchen for other types of events that will need one. Well-kept grounds with plenty of parking. I had a fun time supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses. I didn't have any difficulty finding the place. Review #2576”

“We had a lovely weeding here over the summer! Our guests were all from out of town and completely taken back by how beautiful our space was. We had oyster shuckers for cocktail hour and a waffle truck for dessert. We loved that we could easily bring in our vendors.Anette (owner) was so helpful and just beyond sweet and fun to work with. We definitely recommend and look forward to visiting over the years as we hit new milestones ?? ”

“The annual Filipino Fiesta is held every first Sunday of June at the Jose Rizal Community Center (Florin Mall Drive) to celebrate Philippine Independence Day. It's definitely a showcase of Central Valley Filipino-ness, culture and talent! It's run by six Filipino American community organizations and promotes community and youth relations, educating on history, with cultural activities and other festival events. The highlights of the fiesta include a parade, live entertainment, eskrima & arnis tournaments, traditional Filipino food. All ages, free entry, purchases out of pocket. 2022 was the first in-person event since Covid! The Fiesta went from 10am-5pm. When I arrived around 11am, it was pretty packed and I had to parallel park on the side street rather than the main parking lots. Weather was that weird overcast sprinkly light wind which doesn't scream "June" summertime, but for being out on the grassy area it was ok for walking. They had a charity car show/contest (Team LoveHATE and Neu Era), many many vendor booths from sponsors such as SMUD, UC Davis Health, Vaccinate All 58, Kaiser Permanente, Cache Creek, East Lawn, Sac Asian Chamber of Commerce (shout-out to Nikki S.!) giving out free 10-pack N95 masks and up to 3 Covid tests and other fun stalls like QTEA Boba (taro, milk tea, thai tea), a candle shop, a sticker shop, Filipino wares/crafts like island dresses, fun shirts, bracelets, Filipino flags, etc. My fave was the MTPhotos Sac mini photobooth and raffle (shoutout Misty T.!). They had an outdoor stage for music, performers as well as an indoor stage with performances by Sinagtala, tinikling (bamboo traditional folk dance), kung fu demonstration, Zumba, an oldies band, Polynesian dancers. The food trucks were very popular. Official vendors were Hella Halo (halo-halo), Pinorrito, Daisy's Desserts, My Lumpia Lady, Duffy's Hot Dogs, Angry Asian Chef, and Sugarbar. They had some tables and chairs for people to sit and eat too. I saw people eating chicken adobo and rice, lumpia, bbq on a stick, pancit! I picked up a few sweet treats from Ube Galore Breads & More (Bay Area-based) -- ube eggpie and ube cassava to take home...delicious!”

“We went for their Thanksgiving buffet. In the past the food was excellent. This time we enjoyed the turkey and ham. They were wonderful but the yams had too much seasoning and they were not very warm and the green bean casserole was cold .Noteworthy details: We did not stay in the hotel but would like to. It's an old Art Deco hotel where celebrities of bygone days stayed. It is said that some of the rooms are haunted.”
