To be fair- they do try their very best. Especially Anhi. She is the manager and honestly has the best customer service and always remains calm, friendly, and composed despite the obvious burden of being smack dab in the middle of Hollywood amidst an ever growing opioid crisis and surge in homelessness and growing encampments nearby. . This pharmacy is always so inundated. They simply are too busy for the amount of business they receive. Being so short staffed its bound to happen that they are going to make an error or fall short sometimes. One can only imagine the height of stress driven situations that the staff here must go through each shift. I mean- have they been perfect every time with my meds - No they havent. Have I been less than satisfied in those moments- yes of course- but realistically considering the grime they show up to everyday at work- I cannot blame them. I have also had great experiences too so it is not always bad. Yes I have also been placed on hold only to be hung up on over and over again- but to be fair when it comes to filling meds or answering questions on the phone- obviously filling meds is more important. Not defending this practice but I am saying put yourself in their shoes before being harsh. Honestly, it would help them if you found another CVS. Spread the love -as this is not the only pharmacy in LA but yet it gets the bulk population of Los Angeles coming to them. Despite all the flaws I can go on and on about- I am going to change it up and give them a glowing 5 STARS for EFFORT ! Be the change folks. Pay it forward

Spent 28 dollars and the guy at the cash register refused to let me use the bathroom. He, along with another staff member, insisted that it was \\\"closed.\\\"\\nThey had a key to it but wouldn't let me use it.\\n\\nThey directed me to a Chinese restaurant across the street which was a pretty ridiculous proposition considering that CVS had a fully functional bathroom and I wasn't a customer at the Panda Bowl.\\n\\nWhen I asked if I could leave my car in the lot for a minute while I went across the street to use the bathroom, the response was \\\"No. We'll tow your car.\\\"\\n\\nThanks allot CVS ???

I've recently relocated and was looking for a drive-thru pharmacy. I called in a refill as I was experiencing an issue on their app. the women on the phone seemed pleasant enough until she was blocking every question i had regarding my refill of 2 scripts. I continued to attempt to give her the RX number and other information from the label on the bottle when she just started going on and on as to why i wasn't able to ...( pretty much whatever I asked) then, hung up on me?I'm a patient trying to get a simple refill perscribed for my health. wtf? I immediately called back and at first was told they couldn't give me her name...then she got on the phone and started going on and on about why she couldn't put in the refill ( which made no sense since I was getting my refills from CVS for years). She's the manager at CVS Cahuenga blvd Ahni..or Ani? I've decided to transfer to someplace OTHER than CVS for all my shopping needs ( prescription or otherwise).

This is a failed store. They don't stock basic items and they are unhelpful. The security keeps the doors locked so you have to wave at the security guard in order to gain access. Then you walk into a store that is dirty and disorganized. The worst CVS I've ever been in.

This CVS is horrible. The tech that answered was providing incorrect information, was combative and did not let me speak to a pharmacist. I was put on hold extensively and never was re-addressed.My doctor tried sending new prescriptions to this location and they refuse to accept them. I've never had problems like this-- they are even my pharmacy benefits provider. They definitely need to get their stuff together.

This place is rough. Someone in the parking lot tried to rob me the other day when I was leaving with my prescription. I would recommend going to any other CVS and to avoid this place for your safety.

THIS was worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. I called in my medication and when I showed up I had to wait 45 minutes in line just for the pharmacist to tell me that they're running behind on filling prescriptions AND that one of my prescriptions was out of stock. She suggested I go to another location. Only... in order for me to transfer a prescription to another location, the original location needed to cancel the orders in process. You would think they would do it right then and there. Nope. So, when I went to a new location, they couldn't help me-- and by the time they tried to contact this location, the pharmacy had already closed. I tried to call and get a hold of them for two days. Nothing. on hold for hours with no response. I had to go DAYS without my medication because of this pharmacy. Going several days off of antidepressants is dangerous and I was experiencing some pretty horrible side effects from the sudden withdrawal. I would give 0 stars if possible. The incompetence of the staff here put my health in danger. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY.

This pharmacy has been great in filling my prescriptions on time and I have always been able to get them on time without any issues. It does get extremely busy between 4-7pm and I try avoiding going at that time, I have noticed that they have added more staff behind the counter which helps a lot. Overall if you refill ahead of time you will get a text when the script is ready which is what I do to avoid waiting.

This CVS is like any other except that 1) it's open 24 hours, 2) has a free parking lot (in the middle of Hollywood), 3) is a decent size with good selection,4) has automatic check out stations that accept Venmo and PayPal!All steps from Hollywood Boulevard. No complaints here.

Even this cvs is closer to my home, i'd rather drive to another cvs 2 more miles away from my workplace. Employees dont have a good attitude.

Truly terrific CVS branch. Not only were they super fast at the pharmacy check out, but when looking in the cosmetic section I was approached by a salesperson named ESTHER who asked if she could help; her knowledge was better than any SEPHORA or Bloomingdales service. ESTHER was kind, helpful and taught me a lot about the super vast selection of cosmetics that they sold. She was FABULOUS. I will be heading back to CVS instead of Sephora!!!!

The CVS pharmacy staff at the Cahuenga location are incredible, patient, kind, and helpful. I have been going to this location for just over 10 years, and the staff has changed slightly, but the service is still above the bar and what these people have to deal with daily is incredibly taxing sometimes!! Hollywood is colorful and wild. These folks are experienced and mellow, and full of compassion. Thank you, always!

The tall woman who was running the show tonight is great, super professional, a total boss and I really appreciate that. Thanks for double counting even though you were busy. Still 4/5 because someone screwed up my last prescription count and then the short woman in the morning blamed me for whatever human error their “taking a photo of it” system failed to capture. As if I would lie about an anti fungal medication, or lose exactly 15 pills from a bottle that never left my kitchen counter.

I'm very happy with 'my' CVS on Cahuenga. Every person here does their best, they work so hard (it's crazy Hollywood, don't forget..), they are friendly and utterly professional. Always helping. Thank you all. Valentina P.

Every time I go to this particular store, the cashiers and front staff are extremely unpleasant and disgrunted. They have attitude, and it is obvious that they don't want to work here,This team consistently provides poor customer service, thus the store manager needs to address the issue.
