I have always found the tellers here to be very courteous. Thank you! Also it is a strange and interesting building, which makes waiting in the short lines more diverting.

Whatever happened to good customer service? I've used this bank for years and now I'm starting to wonder why I keep all my money in one place... Today I was picking up some foreign currency at this location at Hollywood and Vine where I was rudely treated by the bank teller with the pink hair. All I was asking is if there was a restroom that I could use before getting in the car to make the hour drive home. She was brisk and abrupt when I asked such a question... There are so many different ways that she could have handled her response, especially to someone who is five decades older than her. Chase Bank you're not the only game in town and you need to train your employees to treat others with respect and dignity.

Just stopped at this location. The card reader to access the ATM inside is not working. No other ATM on the outside of the building.

The ATMs are only open during the day. What is the point of the ATM if I can't access it when the bank is closed? Install an outdoor ATM.

This branch is the worst bank I've ever been to in my life the client representative Taz was completely unprofessional and rude. She was not helpful and at one point told me I was wasting her time I've never been told as a client of a bank that I would be wasting their time to ask for replacement card, she was unhelpful and dismissive. Someone should fire her for her attitude problem. I regularly bank at a different bank and was disgusted as how I was treated at this bank. These representatives were completely unprofessional, and will be replaced by AI.

Replace staff members, they do not accurately reflect or display the banking philosophy of chase, neither do they equate to the quality of chase. I’ll give 0 stars but that isn’t an option. Atms keep money and the people aren’t that helpful. The tellers are but the bankers are absolutely useless. This isn’t an insult but a blunt observation.

-5 stars. Racially profiled and bankers refused to help me because of my race. They made me sit for hours and would not talk to me or assist me. Shortly after, people of other race managed to be fully helped and leave before I was able to even be assisted.

What purpose does it serve to have the card reader at the door not work and the ATM at this location only accessible from 8-8? I cant think of one. It’s a trash excuse for a lazy business, pandemic is over why are we still limiting ATM hours?? You have security in the parking lot so it’s not like it’s a danger to the business. With all the added fees people pay for even a basic account you should allow your customer access to his/her money no matter the branch. Sad and inexcusable.

Most of the Chase banks within the Hollywood area have their ATM inside the bank building & only available during designated times ( 8am to 8pm) If anyone is in serious need of a chase ATM there is an ( outdoor)ATM on Sunset & Orange St ( near IHOP) also the Chase on Wilshire & Plymouth Blvd all their ATM are located outside. Hope this helps others because it's frustrating to not be able to have access to your money.

Drove out of my way for a chase atm at 6am and about 8 atm machines are locked behind glass and no way to open the door, even with my Chase Card.

If going to a bank in Hollywood to get bus fare is a weird thing to do in 2022, then this Chase branch - housed in the Norma Desmond of bank buildings - is the bank for the occasion. Due to poor space usage and tourists (?) camping out for the air conditioning and free wifi, the location is surprisingly cramped and feels much smaller than would appear from the still-splendid exterior. The actual Chase employees I interacted with were perfectly professional. The security guard ensconced in her cubicle at reception was surprisingly cheerful and helpful, while the teller acted as if my $1.75 withdrawal were not a weird request at all when you don't carry cash, left your debit cards at home on the other side of the country, and no other bank where you have an account has a branch in LA. Service was efficient and completely unentertaining - so much so that I spent the rest of my time here photographing the building and the crumbling ruins of the Whispering Angel Fountain in what I guess used to be a courtyard. The lady at the fountain scolding her broken umbrella? I didn't photograph her. Finally, a shout out to Chase (not this branch in particular), whose excellent credit products can fly you round trip across the country and put you up in centrally located hotels in for free.

They are nice actually, and everyone is working hard to earn money. Parking is available and a plus for their service. You may see someone or something you don’t like, but give them a break, they are also working hard.

Don’t do your business banking at Chase or they’ll hold your legitimate revenues for two business weeks. Can you afford that? The managers are robots who can only call back offices and do what they’re told by arbitrary policies. You’re not a business client at Chase, you are cash flow. This is the McDonalds of banks. Do better.
