So, I've been to this Aldo store in Hollywood and Highland 2-3 times prior to this visit. And it's been the same thing every time. They have a paper saying on lunch back at so and so time and they never come back at the time they say they will.I got there around 4:20/4:25pm. and a skinny caucasian lady was locking the door. I saw 2 or 3 of your employees walking out to lunch. I used to work in retail and if you have 2 or 3 people working at the same time . There's absolutely no reason they should all be go to lunch at the same time. That's completely unacceptable.Lunches should be taken one at a time. Not all the employees together. That way the store is always open and we as customers can shop. Who ever the store manager is should know this and not allow it to happen. Unless the lady that was locking the door was the store manager, which is even worse. Not only is she loosing the company money by not having someone there. But if she was the store manager and she's doing that. That's unprofessional and unacceptable!!Whoever runs this store should be reprimanded or fired!! I came from an hour away and didn't want to come back to this location. As I said before, I've encountered this issue 2/3 times before. Anyway, I went to pick up something from another store since I saw them leaving when I got there. But on my way back down, I decided to see what time the paper said they'd be back. It said back @ 4:55pmI went back around 5 o'clock and they still were not back. I left and came back again around 5:20pm and nothing. They had changed the time of when they'd be back to 5:40pm Which means they came back to the store only to leave again. I don't know who they think they are but people have lives!!! Are we supposed to just wait for them for whenever they decide to come back?I am extremely upset and disappointed with this location. And apparently it's not the first time this happens. I've read some Google reviews and others encountered the same issue. The district manager should fix this problem immediately. They're going to loose a lot of good customers if they keep letting their employees run their stores this way. I took pictures but it isn't letting me upload them for whatever reason. I see I’m not the only one waisting gas for no reason. If the employees are always in lunch break and never come back. What’s the point of having the store open if us as customers can’t buy shoes. So disappointing…….??

We patronize the store and we asked for validation we were told that the validation was not given unless we purchase something. Quite interesting how the stores are changing when it comes to level of service and customer service

Same as a few other posts, I looked online, store says it’s open until 8pm, drove 1/2 hour in traffic, another 15 minutes to park & a Gone for 1 hour lunch Sign has been in the window still at 5:40pm. Not sure what the deal is with this location but it sucks!

Drove all the way to get here and 2 hours to find parking so I could get a pair of shoes for my friends wedding to get to the store and see this! Try posting start time and end time to your break cuz this sign has been up for 2 hours now!

I am an Aldo employee myself and I really want the manager to have a look. I was at this location on 12th Feb,2023 5:10 pm and waited for more than 20 mins for someone to open the door. Someone just locked the door and went somewhere during the opening hours of the store. I know the store was not closed as i could see bags and shoes were misplaced and aldo never closes that way. How irresponsible. It was very important last minute shopping for me and I came all the way just to buy items from here. I called the store as well. Knocked the door. I understand restroom breaks but for more than 20 mins ?!?Also no notice or boards were there either. I mean so unprofessional and annoying.

We were just window shopping and look at some deals. If you purchase one item then the 2nd item get an additional 40% off either off regar price or red tag price. The deals were to9 good to pass by. Staffs and service were friendly and make sure you get a parking validation too!

I really hope a manager or owner reads this because I am appalled. I literally waited almost 20 minutes for the store clerk to ring me up while she asked EVERYONE ELSE except me if they needed help. I finally got sick of waiting and put the earrings back after I heard her go to the back and I assume now the guys name she said was security. As I was leaving she said excuse, are you going to buy those earrings. I said no I put them back. Then she had the Audacity to go over and count them like I stole them or something! I am deeply offended by how she treated me. I did nothing wrong other than shopping with a stroller and a newborn baby. Like seriously, I would steal stuff with my child ! You are a terrible person. I'm sorry that I wore a t shirt and sweat pants. I'm not a tourist am a local who has spent THOUSANDS at your store.

Purchased a pair of boots and both sales persons were so patient with me. I almost gave up...because it's hard for me to find shoes. I was the last person in the store but I bought a purse, boots, and was happy.??

If you're thinking about shopping here do yourself a favor and don't. Clearly no one here has any sort of customer service. I had called prior and spoke with someone over the phone who told me this location is open, I had a gift card and unfortunately you can't use it online and have to go in store to be able to purchase it. I should have thrown that gift card away instead of stepping foot in this establishment. I arrive at the location and on the door there's a handwritten note saying "be back in 10 minutes" " cash only". While I'm on the phone and looking away from the inside of the store one of the employees signals with her hands that they'll open in 10 minutes and my friend says ok but again I was looking away so I don't see this. I saw 3-4 people inside and thought maybe the sign is there from earlier because I thought the people were customers inside the store. I tried to open the door and realized no it's the workers and this made one of the employees furious. She looks at me and with attitude signals "10 minutes" and rolls her eyes at me. Like obviously my bad but calm down, it was an accident Hun. She then comes outside and tells us at 1;12 we will reopen and that will be the ten minutes we say ok and wait. Now it's 1:15 and she's simply sitting inside and having a conversation with another employee and they are straight up ignoring the fact that we are outside waiting. My friend politely knocks on the window because we don't have all day to stand there and wait for them to finish their chitchat. They ignore her. A man was also inside the store so my friend goes like excuse me and he comes outside and goes like if you guys want you can come back in 30-40 min and will be open. EXCUSE ME? His excuse was that they were having a conversation. Simply go to the back and talk however much you want. Since when can a store close down to have a personal conversation amongst coworkers? At this point I am furious, I tell him to bring me a manager and he says that she is in their Sherman oaks location, this explained their behavior. Grown people who can't be left alone in a store and expected to do their job. I knock on the window and tell the lady who told us 1:15 to come outside so I can see why they are not letting us inside. She comes outside with the worlds amount of attitude yelling at me telling me that if she doesnt come to my house and knock on my window I shouldn't do so either. Like simply don't ignore me and I wouldn't have to it's that simple. And then she starts yelling that the other girl is inside crying and that they have to speak about that and that's why I can't come inside like if she's crying let her go to the back pull herself together and then come out not close a location down for someone's personal issue. However I apologize to the girl who was crying because were all human and have bad days. She starts to help me and was being polite during that time. The other girl who was giving us attitude from the beginning was in the front doing something else. When we checkout and leave I ask the rude girl for her name and her response is "I don't have a name, I don't have to tell you what my name is" like hun in department stores you wear name tags and give ur name when asked but I didn't have the energy to fight with her. Rethink your staff. Maybe during the whole covid shutdown you guys can take that time to retrain your teams, because with attitude like that no one will wanna give you service.

Kevin is the homie! He has a recommendation for me every time I come in the store. Bobby helped me on this visit and helped me save 50% on weight lifting shoes. The entire staff is knowledgeable of their inventory and very patient in helping find the most functional shoe. Thanks you guys!

This is regarding a 25% online promotion from Aldo/ 15% Aldo Crew Member. I contacted customer service the same day I placed the order (yesterday) and also today this guy that answered customer service from Aldo company was extremely unprofessional. I explained the situation and after 35 minutes on the phone with him, he could not honor their online promo after that he transferred me to Carlie (according to him, his manager) The explanation this lady gave me not to honor the online promo even though I sent them screenshots to prove others were able to use it was; "our system had a glitch and no one was supposed to use either code, I guess they were just lucky, there is nothing we can do for you"... Let me see Aldo? thinking here, the economy is crashing and you can not honor either code to a customer that wants your items? In a social media era when someone can either promote your business or just tell their friends and family to take their business somewhere else. Not a good move Aldo. Please train your employees 1) not to be rude with the people who are buying your product 2)Train your employees to serve better. Take care of your customers and everything else will take care of itself.

Aldo provided me with the best shoes I have ever worn!! I bought a pair to wear to church that are amazing. I bought a pair to wear to the club they are amazing. And I bought two pairs to go with a couple of my suits that are just great, they're so comfortable. I love them they fit my budget they are just the best place to go. Residing in San Diego they also provides flip-flops that I can wear to the beach which is just the best thing ever!
