My experience here has so been so variable. The florist here is popping - she knows what she's doing, every time I go in her stuff gets more abundant! But I feel like since they adjusted their hours to open at 5am the employees have been struggling to keep up with consumer demand, and there might be some internal organizational culture issues going on -- whether they need more people, there is lack of leadership or something else... case in point, once I saw a cashier clerk roll her eyes. The other time I went in, it was quite busy, and this kid cashier yelled, "Customer service!!" and seemed really stressed out with keeping up with consumer demand. The last time I went in, I asked an employee if a customer can join their rewards program, at the front of the store in person, and she said, "You're going to have to go online on mobile." Honey!!! If you want to increase and retain your customers, you have to be willing to have multiple options for people to join your rewards program, not just on mobile. Not everyone wants nor has the capacity to join on mobile. I couldn't really say anything. I just laughed and walked out.

My wife always ask me to try the sushi ? from Safeway, I say no way . Then one day I did and it was grate. The only thing not a fan of is the spicy mayo . I love heat but not with mayo . I do recommend the sushi ? it’s a 7 out of 10 .

Had an amazing experience with a meat department worker Moses Sanchez. He was so kind to me and patient and helped me look for exactly what I needed. Quite handsome as well. Thank you to him!

Just went there at 5:15am. All aisles were blocked with cardboard boxes as shelves were being stocked. Had to park the cart and attempt to navigate around the boxes. The deli counter was not even open. They said they would be ready in an hour! Very frustrating and last trip to this place. Nob Hill is so much better organized.

This Safeway has staff that are very unprofessional and profile their customers. I was followed around the store by security as I was grocery shopping and then overheard the night shift manager say "I wanted to get her". Not to mention I spent over $500 in groceries. Do better Hollister. Stop profiling customers of color!
