I went there this past Saturday to buy a couplings for a project I was working at at home. My first visit the gentleman was very helpful and directed me to the correct couplings for the drains I was working with. I told him I wasn't sure which one was going to work so I took two of each and asked him about the stores return policy. He said that as long as I had the receipt they could exchange them. He even said that they were closing that day at 12 and the next day the store was closed. So I left with him knowing I would be back to return them. I didn't end up using any of the four couplings that I bought because i figured out an easier way of doing the project. I went back to return them and buy the piece I needed. Immediately I get greeted with a bad attitude and the guy literally said "Now I gotta refund the fucken transaction". He literally said that in front of another employee, a girl who was behind the counter and looked like a minor, and most embarrassing of all in front of my dad who accompanied me. I was in shock that anyone would speak to a customer like that. He then went on to cancel the transaction and put the voided receipt up to my face and in a very stern voice told me that he canceled it. He then went on to show me the piece I needed. A coupling that would have cost me $5 at home depot cost me $18 here. Almost the exact amount of the other 4 that I had bought. He didn't even scan it which leads me to believe that he entered the numbers on the computer to screw me over. If there was another company in Hollister that sold what I needed you could bet that I would have gone there instead. If I could give them zero stars I would. And if you're wondering who it is that helped me it's a tall, chubby, Mexican guy with messed up, rotten teeth. You cant miss that. I doubt that I will ever go back after this experience.
