“My preferred guest gate sticker had expired so I stopped in to renew it, no cash, credit card or check only. As usual, the ladies were friendly, knowledgeable and took good care of me.I picked up a *FireWire Evacuation Street Map* of Hidden Valley Lake, a must have for getting around and out when danger is just over the hill and getting to safety is imperative!Masks required, all health precautions strictly adhered to. A 5 star experience.”

“This review is for the casino the restaurant and snack bar. The snack bar has a lot of sandwiches & wraps also things like spaghetti, lasagna, tri tip with veggies. Also a pretty good line up of desserts flavored coffee drinks hot and cold. They are open really late, like 1:30 I think. The Manzanita restaurant. I have eaten there a bunch of times. The food has always been very good. No complaints. Sometimes I'll get a server who up sales everything. I know times are tough. So push the expensive items get a bigger tip. But one server in particular goes hard in the paint. Other than that, very satisfactory.Casino is awesome. They have all kinds of slot machines. Old to brand new. They change them alot. Seems there is always someone cleaning or wiping them down. The casino staff is cool. Security has a big presents. To be expected. If your there for some shady reasons you gonna have your hands full. Back to the gambling I find the slots to be relatively loose. They have a $5 blackjack table later in the night. Always a contest or slot tournament, giveaway, football pool was very good. Lots of other things. Seems like they are always given Freeplay away. Good stuff. Shout out to the gift shop staff all very sweet ladies.I live in lake county so I don't stay there. That's why no room review . It's a great place.”

“The room was nice. The desk clerk? Not so much. He lies. After traveling all day, I called at 9:36 at night looking for 2 queen beds. I was told yes, they had a room, he took my information and my credit card number to reserve it. I showed up at the hotel about 5 minutes later, waited for the extremely slow clerk for about 15 minutes to finish up with the lady in front of me. I got checked in and was told my room number. I asked where it was and he said in the back side of the building. You can’t park back there. I said can I at least drive around to unload? Ya but no parking. So I head out to drive around. There’s a baseball field behind the hotel; you can’t drive around! So I pull back around to the front and see multiple homeless people hanging out in the parking lot and walking the hallway around the hotel. The room was nice, beautifully decorated but I didn’t get two queens, I was given 2 doubles. They are not the same! When I opened my email I had 7 confirmation/modification emails. The first 5 said 2 queen beds. The last two said 2 doubles. Too exhausted to argue with the front desk I waited until morning to ask about the difference. The next morning we found that we were only given one coffee pod in the room so my husband went to the front desk for more. It was 830 am. Desk clerk was the same from the night before. My husband had to use the night window and apparently woke the guy. At 915, I went to checkout. At the night window. He was disheveled and obviously still half asleep. I asked him about the bed issue and he told me that he didn’t have the queens so he gave me the doubles because they are the same. I reminded him of my phone call the night before when he told me he had a double queen room. He lied to me. When I asked about the cost he said they were all the same. I got disgusted with him shoved my room keys through the tiny slot and told him to check me out of my room. And walked away. I don’t plan on ever being in that area again but I can tell you, I may never go to a TraveLodge again especially at the prices they charge.”
