The camp is a great place to exercise your whole body. It is super equipped and has very professional people who can help you with everything you need. They also have all the accessories that you can use to get the results you want. Highly recommended. A 10/10 place. You can come with your friends and family.

BEWARE!!!!!! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone…top 3 worst gyms in the HD! Terrible business, owner and his wife are very confrontational when addressing any issues. Don’t waste your time or hard earned money on this place. You’ll have better success and more information with programs on YouTube, Google and Tik Tok. This place gives you a pamphlet and says good luck! Their nutrition plan is a joke and sets you up to fail by cutting out so many nutrients out of your diet that you have to supplement them with the supplements they push on you or buy your own! Literally charge you for information you can get for free in so many different ways!

The Camp never ceases to amaze me! Their trainers always provide the best workouts, music, information, commitment, encouragement ~ it's a WHOLE vibe! It's my tribe! I've been a member for about 5 years and through my consistency and their workouts I'm gotten into the best shape I've ever been in and I'm a woman knocking on the door to 50! Thank you Camp for all you do to help make people's fitness goals come true! ?

My husband and I were members for 4 years at The Camp in El Monte and then also at The Camp San Gabriel until we came to live in Apple Valley in December. About a month ago, we went to this Hesperia Camp to sign up to do the initial challenge of losing 20 lbs. in 6 weeks, for which this gym is recognized and it is known that if you pass it they have to return your registration money but generally people end up becoming members. It turned out that this gym does not have that promotion, they said that you have to become a member and then do the challenge but even if you pass it, they will not give you any money back. This gym is 11 minutes from our house, we decided to sign up for The Camp Victorville although it is 22 minutes away without traffic but they have excellent service and a very good atmosphere, and they are also bilingual. I hope they have the promotions again so that other people also have the opportunity to lead a healthier life.

The staff is super supportive. There are many times for trainer lead workouts. The weight loss challenge is great, but expensive; however, if you meet the BMI and weight goals, it is free! This site has many different weight and workout machines in addition to free weights and classes.

Beware of this Gym. I signed up for their Hard Body challenge and after attending for 1 week, I contracted Covid. I had to be in the hospital for 2 weeks due the illness and was unable to complete it. Due to the Pneumonia and other issues that came with Covid, I am not able to go back to working out to a strenuous workout program and will not be able to re do this challenge. Since I was unable to complete it due to health reasons, I don't qualify to get my money back. After 3 months of going back and forth I was asked to provide a doctor's note in order to receive my refund. Once provided I was offered a credit to the Gym or $100. Mind you, the fee you pay for this is $500. I would say the owners are not understanding of unusual circumstances and wouldn't say they treat their members like family. There are multiple reasons as to why I do not want to retake the challenge, the most important being is that they don't really care for your success and wellbeing and are all about the money. The nutrition class that is made mandatory to attend (and has a price tag of $250), does not even come with recipes, just a very basic break down of what is allowed to eat for the next 6 weeks. They combine the two different challenges they offer into this class, the 20lbs weight loss challenge and the hard body. Since there are normally more participants that do the Weight loss challenge, the hard body participants are not given as much attention and you pretty much have to read the booklet they give you on your own. Most of the class is a sales pitch to purchase and push their products. They are sure to let you know you won't be successful if you don't purchase any of them. I am new to working out and don't have a lot of experience, I don't think that their camp is beginner friendly whatsoever. You are left to figure out a lot on your own, even when attending the classes. I found it hard to remember how to do each exercise when moving to each station since they are only shown once at the beginning of class. You are supposed to do a second work out in the day which is in your booklet. If you are not familiar with the exercises that are listed, you have no option but to find someone who is or use Google. This was one of the most frustrating parts for me, I could have just used google and saved myself from this absolute mess. I was there for a week, but I was left with no desire to go back in the future. I see a lot of positive reviews and I strongly believe this is due to the "contract" you sign. In it, It states you must post daily check ins and you HAVE to leave a review once you complete the challenge. Who is going to leave an honest review if your $500 is on the line? Yeah no one... There are better gyms out there that offer a better support system and lot more guidance than this one. If you are looking for a gym that will actually care about your success, wellbeing and helps you along your journey, look somewhere else!

I recommend that they keep up the fantastic work the are doing. I am 70 years old and have heart disease. I lost all the weight I wanted. A total of 28 lbs. and I am maintaining right where I want to. I’m telling you all this, because “The Camp” off of I avenue in Hesperia are the one who helped me loose my weight. All of the other gyms out there didn’t see to my needs, due to my heart condition. They all treated me as a number and a body to fill there quota. I recommend Michelle and Jeff (the owners) to help you on your way to be a better you. All of there staff treat you as a person and your needs. I recommend them to everyone in the high desert. Give them a call and start having fun while loosing.

I recently completed a six week challenge at this location with the intention of using it to give me a boost in weight loss and fitness and then moving on to my own personal workouts at my other gym. Fast forward six weeks later(21 lbs later), I am ecstatic with the results and with the program as a whole and getting ready to sign up for a membership to continue on my weight loss, fitness, and heath journey. 1. The challenge aspect - The fact that there is risk involved (not getting my money back), along with the teamwork and peer pressure in itself is an amazing tool. 2. The facility - I took my daughter with me one day and she said... it looks cool in there. I'd have to agree, plus all of the necessary equipment. Only wish there were showers, but we know that these types of gyms in industrial parks don't have them. 3. The workouts - The workouts were very tough and challenging, especially in the beginning as I was really out of shape. Towards the end I began to feel a little better and was able to push myself a bit harder. It was always fun to come in and not know what to expect as the workouts are kept new and fresh with new variations and exercises. No repeated workouts. 4. Environment - Music was always upbeat and fit the workouts.. Temperature was comfortable. Not cold, not hot. 5. And finally, the Staff - The staff at this place is pretty awesome. Had some good discussion with the owner about my goals. The trainers are top notch they know how to keep the group motivated and engaged. (I have knee and back issues, and they always were able to provide alternative exercises. All of the trainers have different styles but all equally effective. And the rest of the staff was always friendly and willing to help. I hope this review is helpful to anyone thinking of joining a challenge or getting a membership.

I joined the camp 5 weeks ago and I can say it’s been a great experience. They work you hard and they educate you about your well being. This is my first challenge and I absolutely love it. Everyone there can be very helpful and encouraging. Everyone helps everyone. The place is spacious and clean. The trainers that I have met so far have been absolutely amazing. They all have different methods of training you but they are all very good and very enthusiastic. Yea following the FTDI meal plan can be very difficult at times but it really does work. You will lose the weight by following the meal plan and showing up. I would 100% recommend this gym not just to people who want to lose weight but to everyone just to stay healthy and fit.
