I've only gone here for a bit of time and I love and cherish every day. Despite people saying that the coach is 'unprofessional, rude, or doesn't pay attention to kids', that's all wrong. Coaches are amazing, they build a bond with the kids, train them well, and encourage them to try harder, and while they may give them nicknames and occasionally swear, it's all with purpose, so that they don't end up being a snowflake that can't handle what's thrown at them. If you are debating on going here yourself or sending in a kid, know that it's a good decision, as long as they or yourself are capable of being disciplined, you're in for a bright future. At first I did little and could hardly punch, now I get the coach's attention and get comments, positive or negative and have a gas tank that can last me ages, even though I'm born with a defect, making it so I only have 70% of the cardio the average person my age would. Trust me, this is a good choice and it'll be a difficult and bumpy ride, but in the long run it's all worth it.

I've been going to this gym for a bit over a year and without a doubt say that Oak Hills Boxing Club is the best gym in the high desert and definitely the best out of the 2 I've been too. I absolutely love coming here and hate when i miss out. Coach is a great funny guy that you can tell cares about each of his fighters. everyone is nice and fun to train with, this gym isn't for everyone with a lot of people not liking coaches style of teaching but it really is tough love if you cant handle a few words I'm sorry but i don't know how you'll handle sparring. a lot of the bad reviews are from people that haven't even came to the gym or just were here for a little bit. A few weeks ago when my dad past away who loved boxing this was the first place that shined a light on how i was feeling and helped me a lot. Thank you Coach and everyone at Oak Hills Boxing for providing this gym that has changed my life in a positive way, i hope to continue coming for years to come!

To star with this place is very unprofessional and disrespectful with no patients to new clients, they bully and call it “boot camp style” but in reality its pathetic how they think cussing at them and making fun of them and say my kids were not use to that type of stuff “of course not its called unprofessional coach with bs and They try to say sorry youre kids are not used to this type maybe its an excuse that they didnt like it” hahaha of course no how would the coach feel if i cussed at him or his child especially on the first day!!! I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! I can care less what you reply im glad i took my kids out of this pathetic place!!

A few weeks ago I contacted the gym and spoke with a gentleman on the phone. I explained how I’m looking for a membership for my son to start training him on my own and would like to see if they had a membership available for what I’m asking for. He rudely responded “then what do you need me for if your training him”. I responded with I need your gym for a lot of things, heavy bag, speed bag, ring time, atmosphere of putting my son in a gym etc. I was shocked by his response truth be told, like I’m the first person who ever asked for a membership to train there own son and not put him in a group setting with 10 other kids. I guess I’m the first dad to ever wanna train there son on there own and want to sign him up for a gym instead of there class. (Like there isn’t 100s of fighters with the father as there trainer). Now I choose to drive my son down the hill where I acquired a membership at a gym that was okay with me training my own son and paying monthly to enter there gym. Very rude response instead of saying let me see if we offer something like that instead of our class setting. Customer services is everything and they don’t got it.

I can’t thank Oak Hills Boxing Club enough for all it’s done for me. Signing up was very easy, friendly, and welcoming and it’s probably the best decision I’ve made in my life. The members are very friendly and never hesitate to share their knowledge. Coach not only trains us as a class, but he also takes time to help you personally with whatever you may be struggling with. The coach has helped me set goals inside and outside of the gym. Couldn’t ask for a better coach. If you want to box this gym has everything you need. Highly recommend

This is undoubtedly the best gym in the High desert. I have trained at multiple gyms in this region, and can without a doubt say the coaching staff and customer service offered by office personnel is unmatched. 3 years of training has given me a life time of skill and discipline. I learned more here in my first three months than a year at another gym in Victorville. If you are looking for Good coaches they have them, they also have a fantastic conditioning coach with a BA in the field of kinesiology. Overall this is the gym to go to if you desire to compete, get in shape, or even are merely looking for a hobby.

I am happy I found this gym, the coach improved my defensive in a short amount of time. The place is unorthodox and alive which caught my interest. People there are welcoming and fun to train with!

I don't recommend this place at all to anybody. This coach is unprofessional he bullies kids. His 13 year old Son teaches the class. When they're outside in the alley nobody's out there taking care of your kids. Basically you're just paying him so your kids could use their equipment I guess you can say and that's it cuz they're not getting taught how to box. They're understaffed. But I do recommend Victor valley boxing.

Yesterday I walked into this place to get information about their boxing package and how the program runs and the man that helped me out was rude I was asking for prices and the way he would answer it was rude. After that I just walked out of the place moving for another boxing place for my son.
