We have been with Dr. Ahmed for 22 years now...he and his staff are the most kindest, caring, compassionate people I've met in a long time. Not only do they do everything in their power to save our beloved babies, they take care of us, the pets humans, mentally and emotionally. We have learned over the years if your pet can wait to see Dr. Ahmed...it is worth the wait...thank you all for all you do.

want to start off and say that I trusted this nice doctor with my Frenchie and her 6 puppies. He recommended her being spay when he took the puppies. My dog Mollie has never been the same. Not only did all the puppies die but Mollie has been sick and loosing weight ever since the surgery and trauma of the puppies. I wasn't told they were NOT OPEN the day after surgery. He did NO TEST ONLY XRAY TO MAKE SURE PUPPIES were ready. They were not. 4 died there and 3 at home with Mollie. Mollie has since underwent multiple emergency visits at HOME NOT IN Hisperia. Dr. Bellesteros should be held accountable completely. I will go after him directly with Veterinarian Board and all other avenues. I once had a Frenchie 2 yrs old full of life and now left with a very weak and frail girl. This should NOT happen. The craziest part is I talked to multiple strangers that live in this area and they all were aware of this Hisperia Animal hospital and only wished I knew about their poor track record and my sweet girl Mollie who was so innocent in all this, didnt pay the ultimate price in this whole mess. She trusted me to take care of her and my judgement to trust this place was beyond wrong. None of us saw this coming. We will forever never forget the horrific impact this vet did to our entire family. I regret to tell this story and all the negative but I never want anyone to hurt as we have . It's just such an injustice. In closing I called 5 times during the surgery day. The doctor would NOT come to phone to speak to me Not once. When he saw Mollies condition 10 days later he said if you want to save her we must keep her over night. IV etc... I agreed until I found out that NO ONE WATCHES OR STAYS WITH SICK DOGS OVERNIGHT. She infact did NOT have preeclampsia like he thought. I told him I would go elsewhere and did not agree dogs should be alone in Hospital. Dr. Bellesteros agreed ,he would not either....?? Do you understand that he just recommended her staying to me. Not before he sent a girl into my room explaining all the fees of service it would cost. Including Dr. Visit that he said was included after surgery for check up. Is he a real Dr. I wonder. I only wish my Mollie would come back to us as the fun sweet dog she once was before under their care. I will be speaking out every and all ways to make them pay for what they did. Money isn't a issue as I will make sure they hear my voice.

Very bad phone manners. Don’t need to be yelled at by anyone! A simple question shouldn’t have resulted in going somewhere else because you chose to yell. Goodness.

This morning I rushed to drop off my pet for a procedure before work, What a waste of time! I got there at 8:10. There were two secretaries in the front. One was busy with a customer, the other one would just look at the phone when it rang. When i was in line the one secretary who wasnt busy didnt reply with a "we will be with you in one moment" greeting. Then a customer walked in after me and the quiet
unprofessional secretary helped her I was so upset. It was so rude. You shouldnt be in the front if youre going to ignore the customers. The secretaries are the very first people who represent your business. So, i left.

We switched over to Hesperia Animal Hospital about five years ago from another Vets Office. As soon as I walked in, I felt the difference & it gave me a lot of Peace of mind. The front office Staff, Britney, Kelly, Paige & Briseda are So Nice, Caring & Professional. Our first appointment was with Dr. Ballesteros, who we liked. Then, any of the following appointments for any of our two dogs & one cat, have been with Dr. Ahmed. What a Compassionate, knowledgeable, kind & personable Doctor he is!! We Love him & trust him with our furbabies. I Wouldn't take our babies anywhere else & I know many pet owners that Love Dr. Ahmed & his Staff, this includes his back area team too!! I always Highly Recommend Hesperia Animal Hospital & Dr. Ahmed & have never heard a complaint from any of them. All good. Thank You Dr. Ahmed & thank You for your generosity. God Bless You & your Staff!!

I can’t thank Dr. Ahmed enough for saving my dog. He’s truly the best! My dog was going into anaphylactic shock and this was an emergency situation. I was turned away by two other vets and when I called Hesperia Animal Hospital they told me to bring him in right away. They took great care of my boxer and from now on I’ll be taking all of my pets here as their primary vet.

Dr. Ahmed saved my cat Felix by properly diagnosing him with vestibular disease after another vet at Animal Medical Center had incorrectly diagnosed him with a dislocated vertebra. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Ahmed and the staff at Hesperia Animal Hospital for taking such good care of Felix while he was hospitalized there. Also, the doctor let me know as soon as Felix was able to eat on his own and could come home so that we didn't pay for more hospitalization than necessary. Dr. Ahmed genuinely cares about the animals and was as excited as I was to see Felix recover with the appropriate treatment.

I'll start by saying that this place is better than no care. They saved my pups life by being the only place willing to do emergency surgery, although at a hefty price. The reason for the one star is during intubation they damaged my dogs throat and months later is finally healing. We almost put the dog down since it couldn't hold down food and was losing weight rapidly. Countless visits later, and about a thousand dollars later in x rays blood work and visits the vet recommended surgery to check the stomach.
As a last ditch effort for my aging dog I soaked the food for 30 minutes and blended it to a smoothie and it was able to keep it down ! We did that for a couple months, now we just soak it. Just putting this out here in case anyone else had this happen.
My biggest complaint: blood work takes over a day, or in my case 6 days including sat and Sunday. I'm lucky I went elsewhere first and got results within 45 minutes. I called daily to get the results and was told "well call you back by the end of the day" everyday..

This was the WORST experience I EVER had. I made an appointment to come in to have my elderly dog euthanized. I check in at my appointment time and chose to wait outside until the room was ready. After 30 minutes waiting in the parking lot with my sick dog, I went in to ask how much longer and advised my dog really was suffering. They decided to put me into the surgical room rather than wait for an open room, when we got into the surgical room, the assistant came in and told me that my $175 euthanization would cost $100 more because they "rushed" me into a room.
When I told them we couldn't afford the extra $100, they tried to barter with me and said ok give me $50.00 extra. This whole time they can see my dog struggling to breath. We did not agree to pay extra, so they sent us back to the waiting room. We sat for another 45 minutes waiting to be called, they never called us back and I had to watch my dog struggle to breath, she was crying in pain and ended up dying in my arms in their waiting room.
We were NEVER called back to a room and ended up walking out with our dead dog in our arms.
This is how in humane this place is.

My poor dog was panting really bad. He’s 8 years old. He’s 1/2 lab 1/2 pit. He is people friendly. The staff was great the male vet I got should not be doing this. He made me put a muzzle on him as he was struggling to breathe. Then told me he was old his lungs and heart are bad and take him to AMR on main as his x ray machine was broken. I rushed over there got me in right away. Blood work and x rays later. He has pneumonia. Thank god he will be better soon. I guess he can diagnose with a stethoscope. Lost my trust. I was a hysterical mess driving to AMR. No thanks to him telling me my dog was going to die. If you do go here, make sure you get a second opinion.

I just wanted to say I've been going to Hesperia Animal hospital since around 2005 or 2006 with all my pets I've had throughout the years. started off with my cat Cookie to Kitty to Mittens etc. Dr Ahmed and Dr. Ballesteros are the best doctors my pets have ever had. Even the staff is very sweet kind and go out of their way to do their best to help you The doctors not only check them but they are thorough, gentle, and they take their time to make sure my pets are taken care of and treat them with the best care. Dr. Ahmed even saved my dog sweetie from parvo. He even helped my dog Pugsly with his hurt paw. I know all my pets are always going to be in good hands. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for being wonderful doctors. Freddie and Michelle Gomez
