Temple Shalom has been a great fit for my family. It is much more than just a synagogue but rather an intimate community of Jewish and interfaith families. My kids enjoy and look forward to religious school classes (unbelievable!) and my wife and I try to make all of the social functions because we genuinely enjoy spending time with the other members of the congregation. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a Jewish connection in the South Bay!

We have been members of this temple for the last five years and absolutely love it. It is a laid back, community feel-- and you can participate as much or as little as you are comfortable with! My kids (ages 12 and 9) both really enjoy going to Hebrew School each week. They make it so fun and the teachers are excellent. The Rabbi is empathetic, approachable, well read, and wonderful with children and adults alike. This is the best family Temple in the area-- can't recommend enough!

Temple Shalom is such a friendly, open, inclusive, and welcoming place for learning, reflection, and celebration. Our 2 kids attended Hebrew school and had their fabulous b'nai mitzvah there. My partner and I are in a Havurah (social group) and we've all made great friends and found community there. Wholeheartedly recommended!

We love Temple Shalom! We have been members for the past two years — it is a warm and welcoming community. Shabbat services are fun and enriching and our kids love the religious school. Can’t say enough good things!

Temple Shalom has been amazing for my family. We are an interfaith couple and they welcome all people here. It’s such a social temple too; not only am I getting spirituality but also having fun with friends!! We love Rabbi August, she is so warm and always is available when we need her. I recommend this synagogue to those looking for a tight knit community of people and for those seeking a place for their family to grow.

Temple Shalom is an incredibly friendly and progressive community. Rabbi August leads services that are relevant to today's world, and, while kids programs are the main focus, she increasingly leads valuable classes for adults.
