She is so fast (about 10 minutes top) and so less pain than hot waxing. The process was gentle on my skin, and the natural ingredients left me feeling smooth and irritation-free. The best part? My skin stayed hair-free much longer than with traditional waxing. Plus, it was easy to clean up with a warm wet towel. My Brow Sugar Waxing Experience was exceptional!
I recently had the pleasure of trying brow sugar waxing for the first time, as I only knew about waxing. The experience exceeded all my expectations, earning a well-deserved five stars. The salon's atmosphere was immediately inviting, with its clean, beachy like interior (it is located right across from Hermosa Beach) and the soothing background music creating a tranquil oasis that calmed me right away.
Renee meets you right at the door and she was so friendly. She explained there are 4 family members in the sugar waxing business. She is the 3rd generation and has been around the beauty industry since age three, starting in Redondo Beach were mom worked. Later her family started the first spa in Kodiak, Alaska.
Her expertise was evident from the start, explaining the process in detail and ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way. The brow sugar waxing itself was surprisingly gentle. I've always been hesitant about waxing due to sensitive skin concerns, but the natural properties of the sugar wax was a game changer. It provided a smooth application and removal, with significantly less irritation compared to traditional waxes. After she put on a soothing mask for a bit, what a treat.
What truly set this experience apart was the precision and care taken in shaping my brows. The meticulous approach resulted in perfectly contoured brows that framed my face beautifully, enhancing my features naturally without looking overdone. The use of the sugar wax not only left the skin around my brows feeling exfoliated and soft but also gave me peace of mind knowing it was a healthier option for my skin.

Now I want to schedule a facial as the mask felt amazing and the product she uses is all organic line call Eminence. She has a lot of options for facials too including dermaplaning and hot stone massage.

Renee does thoroughly make sure every hair is gone, never have I had this done before.

My recent experience with a dermaplane facial with followed by a hot stone massage was nothing short of heavenly, deserving of every bit of a five-star review. South Bay Wax and Lash Facial Spa is a located right across from the Beach in Hermosa . It is tranquil and impeccably clean spa and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a remarkable experience.
The dermaplane facial began with a thorough cleansing of my skin, steaming and gentle extractions. Renee the owner told me she is 3rd generation esthetician, and the skill has been passed down. This made me feel even more confident I was in the best hands from my beauty treatment. She first used a fine blade with precision and care, removing dead skin cells and peach fuzz, revealing a radiant and incredibly smooth complexion beneath. The process was surprisingly soothing, and not once did I feel discomfort. She then used a 10-minute light treatment which helped lift and tighten my skin. Following the dermaplaning, a nourishing serum was applied, making my skin feel hydrated and rejuvenated.
But the pampering didn't stop there. The transition to the hot stone massage was seamless. warmed stones along my neck , the heat penetrating deeply to relieve tension and stress. The combination of the warm stones and skilled hands worked magic on my muscles, coaxing me into a state of blissful relaxation. The balance of pressure and warmth was perfect, addressing my sore spots while encouraging a deep sense of relaxation throughout my body.
The entire experience was with the ambient music to the aromatherapy scents that filled the room, enhancing the soothing effect of the treatments. It was evident that every detail was thoughtfully considered to provide an unparalleled experience of relaxation and rejuvenation.

After researching different spa review and web sites I found this gem. It was easy to book online and I received a text with the picture of the South Bay Wax and Lash Spa free parking. I found the hidden spa to be quaint, beautifully decorated salon in Hermosa Beach, what a treat! The ambiance was calming, with a soothing aroma in the air that immediately put me at ease. Renee the owner greeted me warmly, making me feel welcome and valued.
I was there for a sugar waxing appointment, my first time trying this natural alternative to traditional waxing. Renee was incredibly professional, explaining the process in detail and answering all my questions with patience and expertise. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session, which I greatly appreciated.
The sugar waxing itself was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The pain was minimal, far less than what I've experienced with regular waxing. My skin felt incredibly smooth and rejuvenated afterward, without the usual redness or irritation. I had a few ingrown hairs from shaving and my esthetician eliminated every one of them. She also shared aftercare tips to ensure my skin remained in great condition.

My esthetician has over 15 year’s experience and she exhibits an unmatched level of expertise and precision with her gentle approach and attention to detail made the whole process surprisingly comfortable. Hermosa Beach eyelash extensions has the best hidden spa in the South Bay for hybrid eyelash extensions! Their lashes rock ! My eyelash extensions stayed on so well ! Im due for a lash fill soon but it will actually be a lash fill ! I received a brief eyelash extension consultation on my full set eyelashes and got exactly what I wanted . So nice to find someone that listened ! I can’t recommend this spa in Hermosa Beach enough for eyelash extensions ! Thanks ladies !

i just had the Fastest Brazillian wax in the South Bay ! Clean , detailed and no hair left behind , I really appreciate that she was detailed and didn’t miss any hairs , unlike other waxing hair removal places that I’ve been to in Redondo Beach ! You should come here. Her place is extremely welcoming and clean. You walk into the spot, and you feel all types of good zen vibrations. On top of that, she is very thorough. She doesn't miss an area and after my Brazillian...I always feel so smooth. Plus, she has this delicious smelling oil and sugar scrub that feels amazing when you use it on the skin. I have sensitive skin, and she is gentle. Thanks, Renee, lots of love ♥️♥️♥️♥️

The lady who did my brows was very nice, friendly, and cool. That said, the next day I noticed that I had tons of scarring on my eyebrows. She took off a lot of my skin and left me with some very bad marks. I’m so disappointed and upset for its so noticeable. Even my husband asked me what happened and why there was so much scarring. I came here for I was in a pinch and it was close but I do not recommend especially considering I paid over $60 for my services.
