Very cute Baby store with uncomfortable customer service! My friend drove up from Temecula to visit the beach. We decided to stop and walk into this store before we headed home. She just had her first baby, being a beautiful baby girl, with her amazing husband so she is always excited to buy her adorable baby clothes. This store had very cute baby clothes, accessories and books. I told my friend across the store "awww you make me want to have a baby" due to seeing her excitement to all the adorable things in the store. To my disappointment the women working the cashier interrupted stating "no you don't! They suck the life out of you. Just marry for money men are useless." This made my friend and I feel extremely uncomfortable. I was just able to let out an uncomfortable laugh and my friend told her "not all men are bad". I don't understand how someone can work at a store for babies & say such a negative comment especially with a mother in their presence. Very disgusting & disturbing comment.

I have a two year old granddaughter and love love love shopping at Sol Baby for those one of kind pieces you cant find anywhere else. My daughter moved to Texas, and her baby Aubrey loves the beach, so its only fitting for her grandpa send her beachy stuff from the folks at Sol Baby. Thanks. Keep up the great vibes!

I was shopping with my baby - this store has very cute things but the associate touched my baby without my permission. That's unacceptable. -- Thanks for your response, Gina. I did not see the shoe touch, I saw the head/hair touch. And I didn't say anything at the time because it took me a few minutes to realize why I was uncomfortable, even upset. It wasn't until after I left that I realized i was feeling like that because she didn't ask for permission first. This is a baby store and staff should know it's just not okay to touch a baby (shoe, hair, anything) without the parents consent... like I said, the shop itself is great - if someone is looking for cute hats for their baby you have them along with many other cute things. I just won't be back because of the bad feeling this left. Thanks again.

Amazing people. Adorable clothes. Best local shop for all things kid. I’ve been shopping there since I was pregnant with my first child and Ming always goes above and beyond to make sure I know when new things are coming in, and can always help me find all the right things for my son. Favorite shop!!!!

This place is great. I can't tell you how many times it's been my go to when I'm looking for something really unique and cool as a gift for a little one. A lot of the stuff in there is geared towards adults, like rock 'n' roll from 70s and 80s and hip-hop shirts from the 90s, but sized for kids. But I think that's what makes it such a great hit with the parents, some great stuff with a touch of nostalgia.

Mamas, I do not recommend this store. You can pass on this one. After my experience there I had to look up the reviews to see if it was just me... Good to know they are consistently toxic when it comes to customer service. I shouldn't have purchased anything from this store -- because I was being treated as if I was going to steal. According to the reviews here, I'm not the only one who sensed this. It's too bad because they have cute stuff but you can go to SOOOOO many other baby boutiques that treat their customers nicely. Why would you keep hiring mean people at a store for babies?!

Let me first start by saying this store carries super cute clothes and items. Every time I have walked by or gone inside I have loved the selection and quality of the items. With that said, I do not feel comfortable shopping here depending on the woman who is working at the time. I was walking with my friend the other day and she wanted to go in- when I saw who was working I refused and here is why. Last November I went in with my friend and we were so excited to see everything. We were going to lunch and planned to buy the items we liked on the walk back up to her house so we wouldn't have to carry anything. The whole time the woman working followed us as if we were criminals. When we said thank you and said we would be back, we turned to leave. The woman working came up to us and offered us candy canes. When we politely refused she insisted and put BOTH of her hands in one of my friends cardigan pockets, and my friend felt her feeling around in her pockets looking if she stole anything. We left and discussed how awkward and uncomfortable it made us feel. My friend said she felt violated but was so shocked she did not know what to say. We did not go back. Also, I did not feel our dress was suspicious. We had come from a pilates class and were wearing yoga pants and workout tops. My friend had a light cardigan on, which is what the worker put her hands in. Later my friend said she wanted to go back to purchase the items she saw for a friend's child's birthday. She said when she went in it was the same woman working, and she feel her taking photos of her as she shopped. She refused to purchase from the store and left without saying a word. I am not positive our experiences are because of our race, but it made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Our friend that goes in frequently has said she never had that issue, but she is also a pretty, white, blond woman. Not sure if others have had this experience here but if so you aren't alone. I always check when I walk by to see who is working because I only want to shop when I am treated as a respected customer.

Love this place. Very cool baby and toddler clothing right up my alley "hippie"! We were the original hippies. My nephew loved the shark and crab onesy. You won't find this anywhere else unless you spend a lot of time to look for it. So convenient. Right down the street. They giftwrap and ship, etc. They have so many rock and roll clothing -- I think Led Zep for the babies. I'll be back because my brother is having a baby girl and she's gonna wear some Led Zep.

I love this store! We come every time we visit family in the area. They have adorable kids clothes, accessories and toys. It's a must stop by place. They have super cute souvenir T-shirts, sweats, hats and even pjs! Everything is very high quality. Nutshell- love it!
