I booked a reservation for a rooftop table and was told there were no tables available on the rooftop so we were sat on the patio instead. It was just frustrating because we specifically chose this location for a rooftop experience. They were nice and comped a cinnamon roll (hence the 5 star for service)

Such a lovely spot! We love it for brunch and take away dinner. This was our first sit in dinner and it was fabulous. Great for a special occasion or everyday! Both Chef Slay and the staff are super nice. Yummy food!!!

We orders the bacon wrapped scallops and a wedge salad as starters and they were both delicious! My husband ordered the smash burger with fries and loved it. I had the bone in pork chop which was fabulous! The service was amazing. We really enjoyed our dining experience.

This place never disappoints, let's be honest none of the slays disappoint. First time hitting brunch, had the brisket grilled cheese and American breakfast. Both were excellent. Service was on point.

Food was delicious and our server was great. Rainy night limited seating choices. Inside is a bit cramped and noisy. Hopefully they get their liquor license soon. We will DEFINITELY be back

Looking for a delightful weekend brunch? Slay Hermosa Delivers! AMBIENCE (5/5) Rooftop, outdoor patio, or indoor seating - your pick! FOOD (4/5) The brunch menu, available weekends 10am-3pm, offers breakfast and lunch dishes ranging from a chef's farm veggie scramble and thick-cut bacon to lobster ravioli and a crispy chicken breast sandwich. You can also enjoy bottomless mimosas for 2 hours for $25 (with orange, guava, and cranberry juices). We ordered: -Vermont Maple Cinnamon Roll: solid, served warm, on the smaller side -Slay Steak Sandwich: the highlight of the meal! Tender chunks of filet mignon nestled in melted havarti and savory demi-soaked brioche. Recommend! -Breakfast Sandwich: hearty mix of salsa-slathered eggs, bacon, onions, and cheddar in a brioche roll, served with breakfast potatoes Our friends enjoyed their Brioche French Toast and Chilaquiles as well. SERVICE (4/5) Friendly and courteous! There was some initial trouble in turning up the heaters, but another server quickly came and fixed the issue.

Very loud, no booze, hostess kept propping open door letting cold air in, lights flickered on and off apparently due to power surge from dish washer....food mediocre...swing and a miss in our view.

Just finished the best ever sea bass which I usually find not my favorite. It was prepared perfectly, on risotto with spinach and delicious. The hamachi crudo was perfect as well. My partner had the salmon also prepared perfectly. Lovely evening. Love this place.

Let me start by the positive. The Chilean Sea Bass that I got and the Steak Medallions sandwich that my husband got were both delicious. The Cesar salad was good but needed to be chopped up a bit more to make it easier to take bites. Not everyone has a large mouth. The manager/owner ? (Not sure which one he was) came over and asked us about our visit to the restaurant and how everything was so far. Anyone should appreciate that hospitality. We did. Thank you for coming to our table. Now, the not so great! Parker rolls are very overpriced and just ok. A little dry. Desert which was supposed to be an apple peach crumble, but they did not have peaches, so we were told it would be a berry (strawberry- blueberry- apple crumble was bitter tasting (unlike berries taste) and it seems as they put cranberries in it instead. Definitely not hot and not sweet. Very little crumble too. Crumbles need to be hot and sweet. Lastly, we had a coke and 2 diet cokes. Ridiculously overpriced. $15 for 3 sodas. C'mon, that is price gouging unnecessarily. Will definitely try this place again because we appreciated the hospitality and friendly staff. Hopefully, next time, everything will be fresh, hot and delicious like our entrees were.

The brunch was good. Bottomless mimosas were HUGE and constantly being poured. Great waitstaff, very friendly. Rood ambiance was lovely on a nice day, with views of the ocean. Nice place for casual brunch or lunch with friends. Inside is cute too. Good value for the $.

One of the best places for brunch or dinner in the South Bay. The ambiance on both the upper deck and lower patio are wonderful especially during sunset. For brunch I highly recommend the chilaquiles and steak sandwich! And the Slay Rose is a crowd pleaser!

I was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance on the top deck. I used to live down the street when it was a Mexican place but wow it's so much better now. The food was fantastic. I had the pork chop and my friend had the steak frites. We both enjoyed our cocktails too and the service was really good. We will be back!
