I HIGHLY recommend adopting through The Peter Zippi Fund as well as requesting spay/neutering vouchers for your personal pets AND for feral cats & kittens! This program was very important in helping us to TNR some feral mama cats and gave us the opportunity to not only cut down on the overpopulation problem, but gave us the opportunity to foster and adopt out kittens that we would not have been able to pay for ourselves as we are on a fixed income. If you're lacking funds to spay or neuter your pets or feral cats and kittens, you may want to explore all that Peter Zippi has to offer!

Important to know that they won't let you adopt if you're under 25 unless you have a guardian co-sign. I've adopted many cats and understand the need to make sure pet parents are responsible, but going through this process felt like an interrogation.

Peter Zippi is the best in helping with getting cats and dogs fixed at low spay and neuter prices and facilities. . They are worth so much and I have used them over the years and they have always been so kind to help me and Friends. Definitely this is one organization I like to donate to because I know that the money goes to take care of the cats and dogs.

The adoption council voted and my fiance and I were denied. Denied due to our patio that the cats may or may not have been allowed to explore. If you are looking to adopt from this place... DO NOT tell them you allow cats outside.

What an amazing program. Peter Zippi will be helping get my kitten spayed. I took her in, she was born to a cat whose owner couldn’t keep the whole litter. I helped out and now Peter Zippi is helping me out. I am super thankful and the staff is loving and amazing, so helpful and thoughtful. What a great program.

This place is so full of love. They take tremendous care of their cats, and make sure that each one is placed into a perfect home. Their cats are so clean, healthy and socialized. The kittens and cats were friendly and just beautiful. This is truly a special place!

Peter Zippi Memorial Foundation: This is well run organization who not only will help match you with a loving friend but follows up afterwards if there are any issues you may need help with. They are a "no kill" shelter and I loved that! The facility is clean, the staff and the staff are helpful and kind trying to find a match for you.I adopted a wonderful cat named 'Monty' and would not trade him for the world. He was on the 2nd Floor - which is where they keep the cats that have some behavior or other physical concerns. But to me... ALL cats are wonderful. They just need extra love, compassion, and patience.Dont forget to check these cats on the 2nd floor too. In my case, he was eventually willing to trust me, was able to look past his fear of others, and just glomped onto me and loves to sit in my lap. Still does! He still hides a bit when startled, unsure, or when he was around new people. But.. I also have wanted to hide from society sometimes too. I've felt scared, unsure, and so alone at times. So I felt I understood him.It took about 12 weeks to get him fully out of his shell. But so worth it. Now I'm the world to him and he loves me more than anything. The only missing ingredient was love and patience. It's been about 4 years and we still are close as ever. The kittens on the first floor are always cute. But I wanted this real heart-to-heart connection and they helped me find it. And while everyone seems to like kittens (who doesn't? I understand) but there are great, precious, wonderful adult cats there as well. The only ingredients missing was patience, understanding, and love.Being on the 2nd floor didn't deter me at all. I hope others will check it out up there too. I love him now (and vice versa) as a soul mate. He just has four paws, a cute curl in his tail, and I'm like his dad. I'm the world to him. As the saying goes... who rescued who?Because I remember taking him on the way home. "I understand, buddy. I'm on the 2nd floor, too." (Literally and metaphoric)*****News: As of 10/14.2020 - I just wanted to leave an update that my wonderful best friend,"Toby" (who was Monty but I kept that as his middle name) He's doing very well, has a silly and fun personality, and is a very happy cat - which equals a very satisfied owner and vice versa.I'm his world.. and vice versa aka I'm his human.I DO have plenty of pictures, one is my smartphone background where he poked his head in on a selfie at the last moment and is sooo adorable. I'd gladly send you guys this pix and some other photos if you still would like them? Maybe a special success story? You are more than welcome to share these words. Because he such a wonderful, beautiful cat in every way.Thank you again so much, for connecting me with a soulmate and for the humane, endearing, and special work that you do. I mean every word of that from the bottom of my heart! I believe so strongly in the type of work you do, my retirement insurance is set to give you 100%, as a charitable donation, if something happens to me. OF course, I hope and pray that both Toby/Monty and I live healthy, happy, long lives together.I feel You helped introduce me to a son and best friend I never realized I had. Bless you for all you've done! Monty/Toby sends his happy paws of thanks and greetings as well! =)
