“As a brand new homeowner on the peninsula I was very impressed. We went there multiple times as there are a lot of hardware needs for a new home. We spent a fair amount of money in the process. The store has great support and advice, decent amount of inventory and I was in out quickly. Greg was awesome. The prices are more expensive but it felt right spending money supporting this local store. We did have some issues receiving some lumber due to some communication issues with the front desk. However, Dan the manager reached out to us to us personally. He delivered the lumber and went out of his way to make us feel welcome to the peninsula. That personal touch is something you don't find much anymore. We will continue to support this local hardware store.”

The woman at the counter is super nice and knows her stuff about the products they carry. I was looking for some paint to fix a transit van. I've been back for supplies on a prius paint job, too. Both times had a great experience. I showed the paint code for the color I needed, and they made it in a couple minutes and I was shown some options for clear coat and polishing compounds, etc. Everything was labeled by hand, and she wrote the mix ratio for the paint + reducer and clear+ hardener to make it all work.
Just very attentive and made sure I knew how to use everything and was really pleasant to talk to. That kind of one on one service is becoming rare, and it was nice to get some insight and advice from someone who wanted to make sure I was taken care of. The gentleman in the back that makes the paint is real kind and asks about what you're painting and makes sure you're getting the correct products. I will always come here first for now on. The prices are really reasonable, the employees are knowledgeable and attentive and it's quick.
What more could you ask for.

Above are some of the words I would use to describe Carlos & Yvette (and Team), the owners of Renew Painting. In a short period of time (the past month), I've utilized their service two separate times already. I have a rental property in Torrance but live almost 400 miles away. My decade-long tenants moved out, so I knew we had a lot to fix up. Painting the interior of the townhouse was one. I received a total of 3 quotes -- 2 were through a family friend who's a realtor and 1 through my own research -- Renew Painting. From the very beginning (estimate phase), Carlos and Yvette were wonderful to work with. We conducted everything through FaceTime, emails, texts, & phone calls. At no point did I feel uncomfortable being far away. I was even able to get Carlos to help me with multiple non-painting jobs around the house. His knowledge and skills are second to none. I did end up visiting the property the last day of the project and met their entire family! What nice people! Just this week, I asked Carlos and Yvette (Yvette's role is akin to a COO, making the operation run like a well-oiled machine) to help me with a small job at my property. “We've been using this SW location for years. When we can, we try to make purchases when a discount is available, since we like their premium, Emerald, line of paint. But today I was in a pinch and headed over without checking for any discount. Daniel, at the counter, rang up my gallon and said, "Hang on," and looked up an online discount that saved me about $20. Super customer service!”

“I was looking for a paint store that carried MinsWax cherry 236. They had it, and was open at 7am. The counter person made a few suggestions, and I followed his instructions. This Sherwin-Williams-Williams Paint store Staff is friendly, and very helpful. He noticed my military cap, and open a in-store account, with military discount. He even added at no charge a paint can opener and stir sticks. Easy parking and the store is clean, with well displayed products. I recommend the staff, and this brand of paint store.”
