I tried this place because of the rave reviews, however I found their customer service to be sub par. When the nail technician was doing my nails, she didn't check in with me on the shape and I had to direct her a couple different times, ending up not satisfied with the end result still. I had a simple design on one nail, half of a flower - and had the picture displayed for her to see. The design was so small you couldn't tell what it was supposed to be. I asked her to make it larger like the picture and she didn't. Nails are expensive, customer service and basic attention to detail is important. It's never a good feeling to resent the money you spent anywhere. I won't be going back, nor will recommend.

I've been coming here every ~3 weeks for the last 6 months and could not be happier! BACK STORY: I've been getting gel manicures since college but noticed over time that my nails were getting really thin and brittle from the harsh removal process (i.e., soaking in acetone then scraping the gel off the nail bed). I tried acrylics on a whim one day a few years ago which DESTROYED my nails and I stopped getting manicures for about a year to let my nails heal. Before restarting the manicures, I researched a lot and decided to do dip manicures because they were supposedly healthier than gel... but I had no idea how to take care of my dip nails and would get my dip nails redone (i.e., taken off then reapplied) every single time which left my nails battered once more and left me thinking that dip wasn't much different from gel. Fast forward to last year and I'm back to doing gel manicures again which is taking its toll on my nails (tale as old as time). I go to a different nail salon near my parents' for some holiday nails and they specialize in "dip with gel." I've never heard of this before and inquire... and basically they put dip powder over your nail bed, put gel OVER that dip powder, and then every time you come in, they just take the gel (that's over the dip powder) off and then put a fresh coat of gel over the dip powder again, which leaves your nail bed intact. GUYS........ THIS WORKS!!!! My original dip from the holiday season lasted 5 months (!!!) and that entire time, I came here every ~2.5-3 weeks for a "dip fill w/ gel" which consists of: - Taking off any gel that's been applied over the dip powder - Fixing any lifting in the dip powder - Filling in the nail that had grown with more dip powder - Applying new gel over the dip fill I usually call for an appointment same day and they can usually squeeze me in that afternoon, but best bet is to make an appointment in advance (I should probably be doing that) since there are only two people who can do dip: Katie (the owner, she's really fast) and Natalie (so so soooo sweet, she's super meticulous)! PARKING: Super small parking lot in front of the store that's shared with a few other places, free street parking on PCH otherwise. I've been able to park in their lot ~50-75% of the time.

I have been going to dream nails for about 5 years! Katie is my go to girl, she has good vibes and is good at what she does. She is professional and has good quality products and soooo many colors to choose from.

Pricing is solid (gel mani and pedi were $87) and technicians were meticulous! Tina was amazing, gentle and detail oriented.

The absolute best nail salon in South Bay, if not all of Los Angeles! The owner, Katie, is so friendly and welcoming and my nails look amazing every time I walk out. I get the dip powder and they never chip, crack or pop off ever. Highly recommend 10/10

Artistry and warmth. Excellent work and a super fun atmosphere. It's a little far for me, but absolutely worth the trip. Well priced, too. Pedicure was meticulous. Manicure (gel x) was perfect.

I have been all over LA to so many different nail salons & this is the BEST one. Katie has been doing my nails for some time now & she always does them perfectly. She's so talented & so is her staff! The salon is always clean & comfortable & so reasonably priced for the exceptional work they do. I recommend her/dream nails to all of my friends!

First time going to this place and Katie absolutely crushed it on my full set. Everybody was so nice and personable. They really make you feel at home! Katie is the owner and has the best personality ever. If you're looking for a great nail spot try it out!!

Simply the best! - I started coming to Dream Nails while living in the South Bay, now, having moved away, I am not exaggerating when I say I drive an hour and a half for Tran and Katie; my nails always last a full month and have never broken or chipped not even once (I gave gone here for many years). They have exceptional attention to detail and always ensure I am completely happy/satisfied. I have tried many places and Dream Nails is hands down, without a doubt, no comparison the absolute best! I 100% recommend Dream Nails 12/10
