My boyfriend and I Get our hair done by Tricia and she is the best. Super friendly and accommodating. Easy to talk to and does exactly what we come in be ask for. We're both really picky about our hair and she has given us amazing service and we always leave super happy. I have wavy Asian hair. And he has straight long hair. She listens to what we want and never tries To pressure us into anything different. Love her and her services. Shes took my dry and damaged hair and transformed it into soft silky and healthy hair with amazing style. So happy to have found ourselves a stylist in SouthBay

Pros. Cute location Cons. I was lectured the entire time about how knowledgeable she was, how i have ruined my hair, how she would normally charge thousands of dollars (yep you read that right) buuuut she knocked it back a few bills, saying she was nice and shamed me into feeling grateful. At the end, I had to literally pull away and ask her to stop using the flat iron. Her response: I'm not doing this for you, I'm doing this for me. When I looked at myself in the car mirror I had dark brown hair dye, smudged all across my forehead. The whole experience was an outright disaster; I had asked to go lighter yet instead left the salon with a dark honey all over color and even darker roots, if I pull my hair into a pony you can't see any blonde it looks so ugly. - And if I told you how much I paid! - smh

Megan is the best! I now have a deep, rich chocolate brunette with delicate highlights that practically shimmer in the sun. Her portfolio is on Instagram so you can view: @hairbymeggs. She always makes me feel comfortable, and wants to make her clients happy. I love my long hair and Megan took the time to talk to me about my style options for the future and she said she loves cutting and styling. Thanks again Megan for getting me out of my "Pandemic rut!"

I have been going to Megan Strong at Jessica Rose Salon for several years now and Meg is by far the BEST! Over the years, I have asked to go from brunette to blonde to bronde and Meg has been able to accomplish each look perfectly. She really spends time to understand what your hair goals are and will walk and talk through what you like in any photos you bring as inspiration. She takes care of your hair and is honest with what she can make happen without damaging it. Coming out of COVID, I had some pretty severe roots so Meg was able to accomplish a really natural - almost balayage - look to incorporate the pre-COVID blond with my natural brunette roots. The subtle highlights and overall blend is absolutely seamless and captures the natural look I had asked for! She also does great layers for ladies with longer locks. I love my front layers so much- They make my hair look styled when I wear it straight and they are easy to work with when I have time to curl my hair. My experience at Jessica Rose Salon was amazing! My hair was in a major need of service. I love the way my hair turned out. I love Jessica! she cut, conditioned and toned my hair color and it came out beautiful! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this salon

Megan is absolutely incredible. She's patient, understanding and a beyond excellent colorist. I have very curly hair that was recently fried by a colorist. I thought it would take 3x min to get the bleach out and bring some softness back. That was not the case with Megan because of how talented and skilled at coloring she is. I have not been this impressed by a colorists work in 5 years. HIGHLY reccomend. Oh she's awesome kind human too!!!

I'm updating my review because Jessica Rose called to apologize for my experience and offered me a haircut free of charge. It was a kind gesture and a great haircut and I appreciated her genuine concern and customer service. I would definitely recommend her for haircuts.

Megan is definitely THE BEST colorist. I came to her first for a consultation and I loved how she was so upfront about my "situation". My hair was extremely dry. Oh and with like 20 different tones of brown. True, I have curly hair, but even I could tell it wasn't at a treatable stage. She recommended to deep condition it for a month before actually treating my hair. I know MANY colorist who would not care a bit of my keeping my hair when it belongs (my head instead of my hands). I went for consultation another consultation and the lady promised to get me the moon and more and I asked about my hair being extremely damage and I asked if it would tolerate bleach (I knew the answer) she said "oh yeah that's not a problem" I run away. I Trully appreciate Megan being honest with me because she made it about me being happy not about her getting the "job" done. I brought her a picture of a celebrity that spends 12 hours a month, every month in the salon to get that look. AGAIN, she was ABSOLUTELY honest and said she couldn't guarantee I could get that light bc my hair 1) couldn't resist it and/or I had to do more than one session 2) it was gonna be a lot of money I am REALLY RELLY happy with my result. I get soo many compliments for my hair. My hair stayed when it belongs (my head) and I got a gorgeous color. Definitely, she's going to my super hero book. Thanks Megan :)
