WOW what a great find. This small boutique hotel was perfect for us. The place was super clean, beautiful decor and the BEST most helpful staff anyone could ask for. We travel a lot and seems that there is a lack in customer service these days but not here. H2O Hermosa was a great place to stay. It is walking distance to the beach. And, again, let me say that the staff was WONDERFUL!!

Absolutely beautiful gem. Amazingly comfortable bed and water pressure- also appreciated the Nespresso in the room and the loofah included with the toiletries. Loved listening to the waves from our balcony and the walk to the beach couldn’t be any closer unless it was beachfront. Convenient parking and nice atmosphere in the lobby / rooftop. Easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. Thanks for a great stay!

I stayed here for New Year’s Eve, which was my second time at the hotel. The location doesn’t get much better—walking distance to the pier restaurants and beach but far enough to be quiet. The staff is probably the friendliest I’ve encountered in my travels. The suite was huge and totally worth it. I will certainly be back!

My wife and I checked in after flying across the country and shopping for several hours. We were very impressed with the service at check in and the room and beds were amazingly comfortable! H2O may cost a little bit more but it’s so worth it in every way. We slept for over 15 hours and they kindly gave us a late checkout which is just what we needed. Location is awesome and the service and rooms are 5 plus stars!

Staff is friendly, we arrived late due to our plane being late and we asked for late check out/extend our check out time. Staff offered without any fuss. Breakfast is a bit small wish more was offered.

Lovely small hotel with a great location, wonderful staff, and clean, comfortable rooms. After several disappointing stays in various hotels in Santa Monica, this is our new favorite hotel in the Los Angeles area.

What a wonderful hotel, steps to a beautiful beach, steps to the Strand and restaurants! The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and accommodated my special requests. Would highly recommend!!!Rooms: Very modern and clean, loved the balcony with a side view of the ocean!

What a beautiful hotel in a great location with incredibly friendly staff! I had some scheduling issues pop up and was able to work with Tyrone from the front desk on rearranging plans. The staff was so accommodating and kind. The pier + restaurants are a short walk from the hotel and I highly recommend staying here anytime you're in the LA area : )

SO. DIRTY. NO HOUSEKEEPING. NO REFUND. I checked in around 5p on a Thursday. There was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my room door and the room itself was a mess. They sent me to another room where I found several long thick strands of hair on the bed and the sheets were stained. When I asked about housekeeping I was told they had gone home for the day. I can appreciate staffing procedures outside the norm, but not at the expense of cleanliness and up-to-code practices. Worse, they refused to refund me even though I did not stay one night there. I will never book with this hotel again.

The hotel, staff, and location are exceptional. Everything is new and the beds are very comfortable. My only complaint is that “continental breakfast included” meant a to go bag that had nothing but high sugar foods in it.
